This was the first article that came up, but probably not the best, first ones rarely are!

Mmmm chocolate cake, I'll let you know next time I'm passing;).
Thanks for the link. I will check on the iodine in my supplement. I have read both Rich Rolls and Scott Jurek's autobiographies - for some reason ultra-running fascinates me even though 100 yard jog is my limit. Both are vegans and AFAIK, neither supplement; I suspect they probably eat a wider range of foods than I am ATM.
I have a raincoat, but not warm coat. Though I spotted this

Freedom of speech is for everyone though, not just for people who say what you agree with. But you're right this is dangerously on topic. Here is a picture of some kittens.
What's your view on mushrooms?0 -

I've got a bodywarmer under a black jumper. It does the trick, and looks reasonably professional, plus is comfortable for just about anything I could be doing on the average working day.
I'm in Geneva. 10 days until Kiev, and San Marino have a song that's starting to get me a little on edge. I won't be around a lot for the next 3 weeks.

Very few things get me angry enough to throw things at the telly, but Farage and the Kippers are good news indeed for anyone holding shares in TV manufacturers.
I absolutely detest everything he stands for.....
And the smug attitude and just, well, hideous wrongness of what passes for a thought process in the minds of his kind really winds me up.
Doesn't the man realise his populist claptrap is playing with fire?
And risks plunging our economy and society into a genuinely dangerous position?
The worst thing about it is that people seem to be falling for his "man of the people who isn't like the other politicians" act.0 -

The tiny ness of he road cannot be emphasised enough, not the unluckily ood of there being mush passing traffic at all.
Anyway, its there I saw the biggest ukip support banner anywhere I have seen. Why?

The thing is, the 'traditional' parties somehow never addressed issues around immigration and Europe, therefore Farage gets a platform.
I'm hugely pro-Europe, but at the same time recognise the way it's run at the moment is a shambles.
I'm hugely pro-immigration (I would say that as a bloody furrener, wouldn't I?), but at the same time believe this country needs to crack down heavily on those abusing the system.
The UK doesn't have a political middle ground. It's either traditional parties who !!!!!foot around or Ukip scoring points with popular soundbites.
Anyway, back on topic; why is the kitten in a cocker spaniel mug?0 -

Quite.
The frustrating thing is that there absolutely should be a place in UK politics for a credible libertarian party to point out the absurdity of the nanny state, PC gone mad, etc.
But it all falls apart for UKIP with their economically illiterate stance on immigration and the EU.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

A little Friday interest for y'all:
http://www.poodwaddle.com/Stats/
It is quite alarming how much faster the birth number rises than the deaths one. It's quite diverting to play with though. Almost 1,500,000,000 cokes consumed today in the world so far (using my time zone).
It's another total fire ban today: 32C and not a drop of rain all week. It's really humid too, I'm glad it's the weekend. The cool change is due through on Sunday so the temperature will drop to a maximum of 17C! Quite a fall. We're going to get some rain too.
I've applied for a new job at work in the front office. I had the pre-interview today and was 'strongly encouraged' by my putative boss to carry on with the recruitment process.
You say UKIP, I say nutters and closet racists.0
