Over here we normally get a floor plan but then given the eye-watering prices we pay for EAs so we should! We should get sex with the owners' wives/husbands too for those rates.

Most EA don't bother putting measurements on floor plans, let alone the total area.
This is very odd and very unusual compared to other countries where almost the first thing you quote about a house is how many square metres, even before how many bedrooms. I guess its down to our houses being generally small so the numbers aren't anything to shout about.
Also when square feet are used instead of metres as is sometime the case, it makes it very difficult to visualise - I guess thats also probably tactical - number sounds bigger and no-one actually knows what it means0 -

About raw meat....there's this place in Zaventem (near Brussels) which does the most exquisite (I hope I spelled that right!) steak americain. Using the best fillet steak, freshly minced and spiced and herbed. And a raw egg on top. Lovely.

Maybe.
The UK has reciprocal agreements with some countries (where the government pays the benefits but recovers it from the state the person has gone to).
However, it sounds very suspicious, as usually in order to qualify you have to spend a specific amount of time each year in the UK to maintain the entitlement.It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Lemon, I did add that since the BP reading I've gone vegan, though I've given up when I go out for a meal, unless I eat salad, it's impossible.0 -
As a rough guide I use 1/10th. 400 square feet = 37 square meters.... but saying 40's close enough. Or, you could say 1/10th minus 1/10th, which would give you 36, which is closer.Also when square feet are used instead of metres as is sometime the case, it makes it very difficult to visualise0 -

Vegan-ism is interesting. Have had a few vegan friends in the past. They're always thin.
A meat loving friend of mine always wonders how vegans manage vitamin wise.

I don't understand pescetarians. Fish are living creatures as well surely? If you're happy to eat a fish, then why not a free range chicken?0
