:( still sounds good spirit. Do you think it would be ready if I set off now ;)

I had a potato rosti (on the basis potatoes are meant to be ok) which two anchovies chopped in it and a dry fried egg on the basis that if something ones wrong it has to be either egg or anchovy. (Or oil). :(. Steak and kidney pudding sounds amazing.

New American houses have the laundry room upstairs so you can wash, tumble dry and iron without ever having to change floor.

All my laundry has been done on the first floor, and that's with the washer/drier in the bathroom.

Ironing is usually done in the first floor office, too, so I don't see the point in the extra room for it.

The idea was good, I think it is going to be a bit of a disappointment.

Will go and dish up as I am not convinced longer cooking is going to improve matters. The filling should be OK but I have my doubts about the pastry.

Actually size does matter, It would be insane for on to buy something big. The costs of running a house of which she used a fraction of would be silly. :).

    Shhhhhhhhh! (not enough characters)

The trick is to not let it pile up and to remember that things not in the washing basket also need washing...

It's not the doing that bothers me, that's probably why talking about it for 3 months was a bit much.

I do 3 washes every 2 weeks - 2 loads of clothes (all colours, I don't wear many light coloured things) at 40 degrees, and 1 load of towels at 60.

    Easy peasy.
    :)

I definitely have more rooms (and space) than I need. I can only be in one at a time...

Edit: probably was enough characters in the end. I added a couple of extra 'h's then figured I might as well add the other bit just to make sure.

    What about your sheets?

We make loads more washing than that. I've cut down a lot, but every now and again I get the urge to wash EVERYTHING. The duvets /throws on the on the sofas go in about once a month (mainly because kiwi or dog dog climb up) and we have four sofas, each with a big throw. This weather I go through heaps of dog towels, heaps of them. :(.

Dog beds will all be done again when dog dog is finished her season (not much pont doing them before now, though I'll start on the others. Dog beds are loads of washes. :(. But sticky beds make sticky pets.
