Get what? Yucky floating sticky bits so you can't use the mug till it has been in the dishwasher?

I'm struggling to get what you mean so I cannot make up something almost clever to say back :o. (I mean I know what you mean and refer to, but I don't get how it follows on IYSWIM......from what I posted).

It's definitely on my bucket list to meet at least 1 NP.

I remember when we had a carpeted bathroom. It was great - so much warmer!

Coming from queensland in australia, I dont think OH had ever seen a carpet in a house before coming here. The idea of a carpeted bathroom seems to physically repulse her and any house we view with such a feature is instantly vetoed.

Sorry - way I read your post is that you also suffered from your favourite mug being in the dishwasher in the morning, presumably after it had suffered the same extra curricular usage during the night before...
    I think....

    Oh no, I'm laughing again.....

I have just been literally crying with laughter at those comments. Stop distracting me! I really really must write my reports. Only 7 short ones tonight and the rest tomorrow evening. Back when I've done them...
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Oh god no, its in the dishwasher because I haven't put the dishwasher on since I last used it for a morning hot drink. The same date awaits me tomorrow.

Who would have dunked in a beaker here last night?

But it made me think that once they have dunked, and loaded the dishwasher once....what then....stuck, until the dishwasher is put on. Its a bit...limiting. Our dishwasher cycle takes three hours. We'd have to cut down a bit.

Its both funny and really sad. Which makes it some how:o worse and me laugh harder,

There are some really, terribly sad pictures in the very funny mix.

I suggest getting more mugs or having fewer hot drinks.....

We have lots and lots of mugs, ( far too many ) and a whole load more in the yard. but I like THaT mug in the morning. Its the right size, shape, weight, balance and every thing for a morning drink. Its small, delicate and familiar. :o

When that's gone I have two standbys, but the are also both I. The dishwasher, so I'm onto the 'normal mugs' which I'm using mainly because I cannot be bothered to either wash up or use a cup and saucer.

I mean, I'll live through it, but the day just starts better if you have the right mug, matching underwear and your favourite socks.

Like trousers, I have two pairs exactly the same, bought same time. One pair I like the other, meh, not so much.

As for the other thing, we 're thankfully not dependant in a penis beaker and we have to cram a weeks worth into a weekend.
