It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

What surprises me is they charge £100-150 to have someone tell you what your colour is? Isn't this something you can find out yourself...just be experience? By seeing what colour range matches you? Or am I being a stupid male now? :)

Difficult to do. As I said, I was quite skeptical, but got converted once I had seen the difference it makes.

Makes clothes shopping a lot cheaper because things go with each other well, I avoid whole sections of shops now so don't get tempted.

Day cost me £90 including lunch and it was just a fun day.

I saw it. But they weren't "everyday people" to start with were they. Some of us were never attractive, tall, slim, stylish at any age.

Neither were all of them, but it wasn't about their clothes entirely, it was more about their attitude to life.

    Always intrigues me, this.
Ladies hair cuts are extortionate amounts (£40 or £50 for a basic cut) whereas blokes feel ripped off paying more than £7?

Your idea of an extortionate hair cut makes me want to hug you.

Eta: there is a hairdresser visiting London from America this month I would have liked a cut from were I not a. The owner of the Wreckstoration money pit, or b. finding getting about so hard. Its a lot more than 50 quid for him to cut!

    Make some normal pastry.
Roll it out. Slather the top with golden syrup.
Roll it up like a swiss roll.
Drop it into an oven dish.
    Cover with milk.
    Bake.
    Scoff

Oh, and :kisses3: for feeling poorly bad.

Thanks for the kisses. The point was, I didn't want to cook.....I was just sittin' doing nothing. :o

I've had to pay for that this morning though. Been running round like a blue 4rsd fly. Now sore, tired and ready for a nap. :o. Definitely feeling better though.

My voice sounds quite sexy today, like I have been smoking all the cigarettes the others have quit.:D

I refuse to have my colours done.

While I accept some colours might not flatter my skin /colouring perfectly, they might flatter my mood, attitude or personality.

I think there are ways to incorporate favourite colours...for example, 'can't' wear black.....you might be able to accessorise with it.

Colour impacts a lot on how I feel about things, (like scent).

I have odd colouring......about half of people like hairdressers , aethericians etc say its cold, half say its warm.(a lot depends on the time of year, I have unusual pale skin that does tan and people who see me in the dead of winter, or a summer when I am being vampiric and hiding from the sun as much as possible don't imagine I can tan without burning, while people who see me in summer, or now, before I have gone winter pale, cannot imagine how pale I can get!

. I emphasise the warm with my hair colour choices. :). Another common 'colour' defined is gold or white metals. I am very deifinetly a gold 'person' personality wise. I'm not modern enough for platinum nor sophisticated enough for white gold, but I love yellow gold, like rose gold, and also like copper, bronzes etc.

While gold is meant to be warm I've not yet found much I cannot wear with gold, even the 'cold' colours look lovely to me with gold, where as silver/white metals often look 'wrong' for my personal taste with warm colours.

Its very personal, and I often think breaking the 'rules' in these things makes the style.

    Oook
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

I do not think that you are having a proper midlife crisis unless you buy yourself a Harley-Davidson motor bicycle that makes far too much noise and is far too heavy for you.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
