Pfft. I expected better of you.

It would have been worth more had it not included deliberate mistakes to ensure it looked like the own work of DS2. Some of the hypothesis were a bit flaky, but we couldn't risk the teacher asking DS2 what part of his statistics degree he'd used!

The clothes rummage gets me down at tk Maxx. Like the huge second hand book warehouses do, I like clothes, I like books...but filtering through all the junk for a gem is just too much like panning for gold sometimes.
    .

    I totally get this...
    That's so sad.

What happens to facebook pages when people die...they just linger.....receiving friend requests....

Do they a message saying this person hasn't updated for 5 yrs or something?

    Horrid.....

I'm sure there are companies who save/package your online persona's. Apparently (take note PN) there's a niche market there of loads of people worried about what'll happen to their online selves when they pass.

Noooooooooo..... one of my rels has just sold a lovely Eos and had a bit of trouble doing so. If only the timing was better! You would have got a great deal.

Alternatives... get a pre reg. You save money and pretty much get a new car. We do this whenever DH gets a new car.

Another is that there is a car auction in Bedford where Volkswagen Audi sells off cars, could be worth looking for an Eos there. My brother has used it a couple of times as they sell ex fleet vans cheap too. Not bad, but it has good weeks and bad ones.

I'm in market for new car too. Have been looking at dealers but second hand not price differentiated enough from new.

    Gutted!:(
    Summers back...

......looks like you've all been in the Garden like me!

Was 22 degrees here yesterday. Last bowls match of the season & was lovely!
Was sat round a friends in the garden in a tshirt until 10.30 yesterday evening.
Hobbycraft today - didn't stay long, just got the essentials & scarpered back to the garden.
Rare you get the opportunity to tease two chums at the same time, just for Lydia and PN......

Yummy scrummylicious superduperty supsups with Jamie Oliver's blackberry mascarpone tart recipe for puds. I just know how my friend PN LURVES Jamie and up beat ridiculous speak! and how Lydia loves to see what we're having for supper!

Right, off to do something miraculous, healthy wholesome and most importantly FUN with whole meal pasta and our home grown tomatoes.....

Yes, I know - it's a worry...... online personas/incomes can be tricky. I've seen instances of ebay sellers keeling over and their dearly departed can't touch the account and the buyers who have paid are going livid and there's nothing anybody can do.

If I tried to show somebody round everything I've got, what to change, where the money comes from, etc, it'd be a full-time week-long job even if they were online/IT savvy already.

Should be, "sorry for the TLA" surely?

I honestly once recieved a memo that stated "The use of TLA's is barred"

Just had a lovely dinner/tea. Used half a packet mix to make a big yorkie. Shoved 4 sausages in it, so it was a toadie. Once cooked I've set 2 of the sausages aside for tomorrow.... then I put the yorkie and 2 sausages in a serving bowl with some mash and lashings of instant onion gravy (with added ketchup, so it was tomato/onion gravy).

    Over-full now.

Would have liked to have opened a tin of peas, but that would have meant working out what of the other things I had to give up to make room for them.

I knew what FMB was the second I saw it; it was obvious as Doozer doesn't run a fruitstall at a market.

    !:D

    Shudder. Shudder.

I found the stuff about facebook bereavement fairly horrific too.

When I die I don't mind if so e one occasionally says in passing...that lir was a terrible speller/ liked to laugh/ found funny interior decorating links / was vain....I don't want out pouring of emotion or nuffink. I have requested no funeral too. Just throw me into the fire in a cardboard box please, no fuss, no expense. DH is going to do e expense afterwards which we have agreed and like, and then I want him to get out to see his family...away for here, for a couple of weeks and preferable back at work within the month, certainly dating by six months. :D

Life goes on. I don't want any thing that slows that down for him. :D. I wanna kick him up the backside so he runs into the future :D

Wonder how many of the NPs might enjoy this slightly surreal little music video.

I like Beck (Odelay is a masterpiece), but have never been a Bowie fan.

I've seen Ebay buyers and sellers who have supposedly died and can't complete transactions only to find them amazingly resurrected a few weeks later.
