    Please don't quote, will delete.

Not sure who thought that would be a good idea, and pretty sure I wasn't selected as they thought I would be great at it - more that they needed a replacement for the current person. Should be an interesting learning experience though!

I'll be doing my best fish-out-of-water impression in Wheezy-land then otherwise I'd have loved to meet up. Next time...

    Aw, thanks!

It gets tough at times on site.....but at least I know that you know that we pay!!!:rotfl:

Going by the boiler people's rules, the fact that you do pay is proven by the fact you're not suing us ;)

    FMB?

Wednesday and Thursday are sports day so only working mornings but Tuesday would certainly be possible if you can face a repeat of the other time....dare we ask about the outcome of your previous London trip?
    I think....

I find that a good chippy is becoming harder & harder to find.
Round my way ;) most chppy's are guff.
I now only really partake in a chippy when I go to the seaside.
There is a brilliant one 2 miles from me - and he has another chippy a few miles away too. Some top London chef type, who makes proper old fashioned chips and does all the usual stuff, but alongside that are things like monster hand-made fishcakes etc.

A £1.50 small portion's enough for two meals really, if accompanied by something else (e.g. mushy peas or curry sauce, which I don't buy but have at home).

Our local chippy is great. Their idea of "small" chips and "small" fish are huge by my standards. "Small" chips easily feed me and DD between us. (DS is not fond of chips).
I hate posts that talk about being grateful for what we have, then they list what's so great about their life:

I don't mind those. The ones that annoy me most are the photographs of what people have just cooked and are just about to eat. Why would I want to keep seeing those every few days from the same person?

When I post myself, I make extensive use of the settings for making posts only visible to particular groups of people, and rarely post anything that's visible to all my friends. So I might post something about finally finishing writing my reports for school at 2am, a mere 7 hours before the deadline, but it's not going to be seen by anyone who doesn't work there. I posted something a few weeks ago when it was a significant date with reference to when I married LNE, but I only made it visible to people who had known him, and had known us when we were together.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
    :)
