Which of your parents do you think you take after?

Neither of them. My grandad was a grumpy sod who sat in the corner and wished that everyone would leave him alone though.....

    Hi Yorkie

    (Um, I'm Lydia, not Sue.

    Oops, sorry :o:)
Do we ask if we should refer to you as "he" or "she" or would you prefer not to say? Ages ago, when he was new on the thread, jelly enjoyed keeping us all guessing - although most people were of the opinion he was probably male - until he accidentally referred to leaving his jacket on his chair so that people would think "he's still in the building" and then his secret was out.

:D "She" would be fine :)

I'm not sure. My gran had grey hair by the time I knew her and I never asked him what his preference was. I imagine if I had he would have turned up the golf on the TV and ignored me as this was his normal response to most attempts at conversation unless there was any beer on offer.

Any suggestions for nice places to visit when driving to the Isle of Wight? I seem to recall some time back somebody having a nice time over there.

    Monkeyworld....

I want to go to bovington tank museum but never got round to it when I have been down that way.

Perhaps the fact that you worked at least 2 days of the bank holiday weekend has something to do with it?!
    I think....

If I wasn't at work, I would have been digging the garden so maybe not.
