I can see this bit too, you know.

    I know! ;)

I was trying to put ideas into your head (and his) - or remind you of an idea that's been suggested on here before. I'm afraid you're going to find that the NP take about as much interest in your search for a bloke as in your house-hunting.

Perhaps to be fair I should mention that I tried to do some speed dating on holiday but they didn't have enough men sign up to make the over-40s category worth running. In the course of the holiday I did meet three eligible men, although there's no indication that any of them are interested in me. There Nikkster - that might draw the fire of the NP's interest in my direction and away from you for at least a minute or two.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Same as Mr S 25 plus 8 bank hols. However any I don't take I get paid for which may help to offset some of the fortune we have spent fixing the car this year. Have used 12 so far and will use 4 at Xmas plus a few bits and pieces for school nativity etc.
    I think....

Christmas Eve is a normal working day!

My dad worked religious days too, because he hated them:D no extra money or anything. In fact, I don't think my father ever took his full holiday allowance even. :(. But he did feel that if he were asking other people to work those sorts of holidays he should show his face at least too.

Where he worked there were a lot of Americans, who all wanted to take time off to visit family, etc, over Christmas. So Christmas Eve counted as a paid-a-fortune day!

Ah! DH often seems to get on files with heavy Russian client presence at Christmas, and they think its a normal working day here on 25th.

michaels life is too short. Your children are children for such a short time. Take the time off. There is more to life than money, even for a super savvy shopper.
