Well done middle son!0

I'm back.
It was fine, I don't get results for a while. I was very sick there though, and they said that's pretty unusually for people to be regularly sick for what every it is whatever that test is for and I said that's great it will be negative, I am sick all the time.. They didn't see that as good news and asked me to do another pregnancy test. I have done more pregnancy tests this year than someone in an IVF programme probably. Anyway, not pregnant...( good news for once if one is still radio active!) and probably not got any of the whatever they were testing for if being sick a lot is unusual.
.
Feel fine now btw, just felt queasy earlier.
Now got to go and see horses, and then look at sorting out sparkly corner and taking some pics.
I am seeing this as very much a turning point in a new turning point for me now, and a good corner to have turned. Besides old SC needs a good old clean.
NDG, what about being a part time jewellery designer for cash flow? I'd love skills like that.0 -
He did well! He got his English which is the one we were worrying about so huge relief. One annoying thing is the school mucked up his music as not all his coursework had been submitted by the school, so he missed out on his A* (well 2 A*'s as it was worth 2 GCSEs).
Still, he still got 10 A-C GCSEs including English and Maths.
Good result, middle son!;)There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

I'm sure I posted congratulations when I read this, but I can't see anything on the thread now. Maybe I clicked the wrong thing. Sorry.
Anyway, big congratulations to middle son, and a boo hiss to the school about the music.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
Actually, I'm having fun now, like a dragon or a dwarf or some other fairy tale beast in love with its sparkling tat.
I have lots of other broken tat NDG has mentioned over the months Sh'd look at and advisepoor thing is going to get lots of pics now.
I need a good sort out.0 -
well done to sue's middle son! and anyone else I might have missed
stepson did really well and got 8A's, 2B's and 1C (he struggles with French but would easily have passed Japanese given the chance).
Also for silvercar and maybe some others on here, I had a shellac manicure today and I'm impressed! I never like having manicures much but dry as soon as you walk out of the shop, walked around shops, did the cooking and nothing.0 -

No idea, maybe the school doesn't offer it? I have no idea how the whole thing works.
