Feeling out of sorts

Sorry your feeling low i was a single parent for many years and for the most part i coped very well but just occasionally i felt a bit fragile and i could have cried at the drop of a hat, i just wanted another adult to ask me how my day went, or be concerned about my well being. Nothing wrong with that we all need some support and love from time to time. I hope you're feeling brighter and your health picks up soon.0

Me too.
I was a single parent for very many years and know exactly how you feel. You keep busy, occupied, thinking of the next big thing on the 'to do', list and while you're feeling on top of things everything runs smoothly.
When there's a health issue, an unexpected bill, or just someone in the wider circle who 'doesn't get it', the inner strength you need just to survive day to day melts away.
It can be so hard sometimes.
What used to work for me was designating a bit of time to myself each day. Just half an hour or so but it really helped particularly on tough days. Used to just give myself a proper facial cleanse, listen to a favourite radio programme or just a soak in the bath with a magazine.
You must look after yourself and make time for yourself too. Doing the job of two parents is very hard both physically and emotionally.
Particularly when others just don't 'get it'.0
