It's up to your conscience whether you should feel bad or not, and you rightly or wrongly certainly have different moral values to me. I would personally be concerned that a member of staff may later get into trouble for the mistake, and I wouldn't want to be responsible for that. However I don't know your situation, you could donate vast amounts for charity for all I know, so I wouldn't personally criticise anyone for their decision on what to do.
Realistically, as others have said, you can likely ignore the situation and hope it goes away, and pay up if they do later issue an invoice for the money.0 -

It's about what you spend, not what you save or what legitimate bills you don't pay.
Which is why you don't for example say stop paying your electricity bill a few months before moving home and they will probably write it off after a few years.0 -

Good for you but creating that good Karma doesn't mean you can abuse it with bad karma.
If your morals believe that because its a big company then sod them then why use a big company to start with...surely that contravenes you morals?0 -
Since you are such a philanthropist.. will you be donating the money to charity?0

With so many big names hitting the wall over the last few years, what makes you think just because they are a big company they can afford to take such a hit?
In response to your future thread:
Company chasing money for goods received 6 months ago - is this legal?
Answer:yes they can. They have 6 years.0 -
#Christ almighty, with attitude like this, the kids will be the same, their kids will be the same, and on an on and on.
They don't stand a chance. Poor little beggars......make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
