Only deposit paid

I recently paid the deposit on a bed which was delivered without them asking for the rest of the monies, the reason i can see they didn't ask to be paid on delivery is they have made a mistake on the invoice!
They have put deposit... £200 say
Amount owed £600 say
amount to still to be paid... Nil (they have put)
So we booked a delivery date and it was delivered very well i must add. What i'm asking here is what happens next and what grounds have i got with the invoice will they come chasing for money?
I am from Scotland so have i got myself a winner here over this company?
All replys welcome and no i don't feel bad about saving money lol

    It says
    delivery £29
    total: £800
    less deposit: £229
    Balance due: Nil

Does this mean it's mines at their error?

Of course they can chase you for the money, you haven't paid it. An invoice means nothing - if you were ask to prove you'd paid it, how would you?

    Yay for morally bankrupt Britain!

Morals? Your saying i should have morals with big companies who are messing lots of its customers around daily they buy the products mega cheap abroad anyway. If i was asked prove i paid it? Well prove i never gave the give the rest in cash? After all my reciept says nill due?

Well given that the invoice is contradicting itself there has clearly been an error. Either you paid more than they claim, the total is less than they claim, or you owe more money.

Anyway if morals are not your strong point, legally they have 6 years to correct their mistake and take payment.

In your situation I'd put the money that I owed them in a savings account. If they ever asked for it I'd pay.... if they didn't after 6 years I'd spend it!
