Is the Samsung S3 Mini worth the price: http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/mobiles/mobile-phones/SAMSUNG_GALAXY_S_3_MINI
Wait or buy now?
How about the S3?

Will the price go down maybe around Christmas time?
Also, what's the best phone for around that price (NOT Windows Phone) at the Carphone Warehouse site?

If you want the Sim free unlocked version, Asda Direct is offering them at a lower price. However they seem to currently be out of stock of the mini one in blue. I ordered one and they sent the white version which I have returned. I am waiting for confirmation about the availability of the blue one.0 -
The S3 mini is currently £179.99 on PAYG from O2 so CPW should price match if you ask them.
The S3 is definitely worth the extra £100 over the mini, but they are completely different phones and you can't really compare them.0 -

S3 Mini definitely worth the price
Buy now, or when you next see a good deal. (a short while ago Asda had the S3Mini at £169, now at £199). Both phones have been replaced now so the main price drop has happened, can't see them getting much cheaper.
Standard S3 definitely worth the extra £100 ish, if it suits your use. ie. I do a lot of emailing and browsing, so the larger screen is ideal and worth the extra (as well as more RAM and faster CPU).
The only other phone I'd consider in the price range is the Nexus 4, but you won't get that at CW. Very good phone if you have no need for changing battery or inserting a memory card.0 -
Link is partially broken and phone is not available.0 -

Are you just referring to them being replaced by the S4? As I said in my previous message, I have tried to buy the mini from Asda Direct but the blue seems to be out of stock. Other places like CPW still want over £260 for the mini. Amazon is asking £199 but I am a bit reluctant to order from there.0 -

Yes, I'm referring to the S4 models "replacing" them. Not really replacing them since they're still being manufactured and sold, but they've been knocked from the top-spot of their respective lines.
The website says the Mini is in stock in both colours, but you seem to have had a different experience.
Asda's stock and prices do seem to change quite rapidly. How much of a rush are you in, it might be worth keeping an eye on their site.
Edit:
Very claim to have the Mini in Stock in Blue at £199:

And do they price match PAYG from Phones4U? Saw price match at £179. Link to page please that state that policy.
Edit: I have a £50 voucher for Carphone Warehouse so it MUST be from there."Character is a journey, not a destination"--Bill Clinton
