I've managed to make £81 off Ebay so I am pleased
I have some more things to sell too, though I think the ones which will make the most money have been sold. I also have had viewsbank send me more assignements so making pennies there.
I've also started up my own business plan doing a sideline to working full time. The dream is to do that alongside the livery in 5 years time. Early stages now, looking into registering with companies house once we've decided on company name.

Turns out I can be a sole trader so that's good as I don't have to register with CH. I will have to let HMRC know though.
I've bought my own domain name and have a hosting company so I'm in the middle of trying to make content for the site. I'm going to create a logo and an invoice template. The business is an online one - I won't go into much detail here as I like to remain anonymous
The money I made on Ebay is going to pay for the website and hosting so it's not costing me anything from my pay packet. Really enjoying it and looking forward to my first client.

Hello me

I've had my first customer however they were responding to a free offer I posted although the "catch" was they had to like my new FB page and leave a review that I can use in advertising
I'm hoping to hear back from them soon.
I've tested the heating tonight, for 15 mins to make sure everything would work if and when we need it. We're using the log burner until then, at least until after the hols.
Big girls been doing well but now seems to have some sort of muscular problem, back maybe resulting in carrying herself all wrong and will end up being painful for her, if it's not already. Pony is doing really well as is daughter with him so all is well there. We're off to watch a show tomorrow night.
Felt rotten today, the wind whipped round my head last night going to field and gave me a shocking headache which I've still not been able to get rid of so am feeling rather sorry for myself
On a good note, I think, I have an interview for that job - didn't even expect that so am shocked and now worried! Not had interview in years.Debt - CCV £3792

Loving your diary , i would like to jack in my job and run boarding kennels, there is a definite need in this area, we have a farm, so premises woulnt really be a problem, but the idea of chucking in a relatively well paid job with a monthly cheque is very scary !
I hope you get your dream someday, its always something to look forwards to.
Its just a bad day, Not a bad life .. :cool:0 -
Wow you're already halfway there! Boarding kennels was a thought for us too however horses are my passion. I dream of the day it will become a reality. Yes there will be bad days as well as good but I'll take them over what I am doing for a job now any day!
Thanks for reading - I was getting lonely lol

Hi Debtfree2012 I'm subscribing!
Have just read your diary and really enjoyed it!
The title caught my attention! I have the horse (and two cats!) and hope to have the dog and chickens in 2014 when we move into our own house (building at present!).
I too have often thought that running a livery yard would be a nice way of life - but DH just won't hear a word of it! Even though we have a farm and are both interested in horses. We have the perfect set-up to run a yard, the only drawback being our rural location. But on the plus-side there is fabulous quiet hacking on the roads around here, and we could have a cross country course/ on-farm trail too. Anyway, I'll tackle my remaining debt first, then set out on the mfw trail...and we'll see where we end up!
Looking forward to sharing the journey! :jDebts: Credit Card: €6000 ---> €5050 Feb 25 \ Overdraft: Step 3/100

How lovely castle lough
I am lucky in that DH would happily work on our own livery yard, maybe just because he hates his current job so much haha but I'll take it any which way I can
I've woke up with a stinking headache still, think it's sinus as had it a couple of days
Looking forward to tonight where DD and I can spend some quality time together watching the show jumping.Debt - CCV £3792

Afternoon

Wow what a few days it's been.
I have had a job interview for the one I applied for a few weeks ago. It was really hard and I stumbled with a few questions but for the most part I'd prepared answers. If nothing else I will take away the experience of it as who knows, we may be needing it soon with the redundancies (which we've still heard no more about).
I think I mentioned I'd started my own little business, well that's been interested and something I am passionate about. I've had my first customer in that they've taken up an offer I posted for free on the condition that they provide me with an honest review. The first person who took me up on the offer never came back to me so this is the first one I've got my teeth into and I really enjoy it. It's hopefully seeing me through (sanity wise, not financially) until the livery business happens.
Speaking of which, I've got a business plan template and made lots of lovely notes from researching online. I'm going to develop it on my lunch hours over the next xx amount of time. There's actually a farm not too far from me that would do nicely (out of price range for now but only just) however the area it's in isn't great - fair enough it's not near the village but I need to give that some thought as to potential clients and so on. Although the area round my current yard isn't great, we have lovely people at the yard and not suffered from the ongoings out of the area....food for thought.
DD has been poorly and is still off school today, have a had a right carry on with that and hate seeing her so poorly (water infection). I am working tonight but only from home so I'll be able to get some cuddle time in with her.
Unfortunately the big girl was lame again last night which is devastating. Will have to see how she fairs tonight. Pony is lovely and cute as always.
Money wise I am not going there as the holiday's looming which has meant I've overspent and I knew I was when I did it!!!!!
Oh and finally - I have started to watch Downt0n Abb£y as everyone raves about it - though I am on Series 1 Episode 1 and my oh my I was shocked LOL.Debt - CCV £3792

Thats really strange because I was thinking of watching Downton Abbey, everyone I know watches it and loves it. Its just finding the time to catch up isn't it?
Hope DD is better soon.

Morning

I wanted to watch the 2nd one last night but I didn't get chance so I'll fit it in somewhere Livvy! Life is just so busy.
Well the big girl is still lame - great - so I am cancelling the back woman and getting the vet instead, well, after a couple of days box rest. Looking forward to tonight as it's the show and my chill out time.
DD is almost better which is so nice to see, normality restored.
Work wise I won't hear anything about the job until next week - end of - so I'm not thinking of that yet however I am really struggling with working in an office at the moment!
Who knows, I may win the Euro tonight and all will be resolved!Debt - CCV £3792
