Right I've finally made changes to website meaning I am happier with it. It'll always be work in progress of course but for now it will do until I get back from holidays I think.
I've had some more interest so going to follow up on those and get marketing again when I get back.
Tonight I shall be packing as I will have no time before next Saturday to do it and that will stress me right out. I'm taking a travel iron so will just ut things in as they are. Although the heat over there will soon take any creases out I think.Debt - CCV £3792

Wow where does the time go!!!
Well things are hotting up ready for the hols and I think I'm almost packed.
Everything's pretty quiet except a bit of a weird email from potential customer. Quite aggressive in his response so I just stayed polite and left it at that. Not worrying about it.
I'm hoping the holiday helps me decide what to do about the big girl - vet said basically we need to decide if she should have the operation on the other leg which is now buckling under the pressure of having the other leg in full working order.Debt - CCV £3792

I'm back

We had an amazing holiday - loved every minute of it.
Now back to the real world. I need to think about winter cooking it seems, it's blooming freezing back here.
I've been told I have a job in the new org and the redundancies won't affect me
I'm really pleased and I feel the next stage in life is starting.
This is making me feel like getting organised so watch this space!Debt - CCV £3792

Morning

Well the jet lag's well and truly kicked in. We're all like zombies which is frutrating as there's so much I want to do, starting with cleaning the house. The kitchen needs painting too but I dren't ask DH yet - he's picked up a bug and is poorly on top of jet lag.
I'm really pleased to be back - been to see the horses when we landed and all is well - still have lameness issues with big girl though - however both are ok.
I've checked my accounts (with 1 eye closed) and they aren't too bad but could be better. I want to forecast when things will change financially for me now I know I have a job!
I need some new pony nuts, conditioning cubes and chaff this week too. Also I'll order a few xmas gifts - DD wants a jumper hoody with her pony's name on it.
It's DH's birthday coming up and I better sort something for that. He'll just say he doesn't want anything!! Men.
Today's plan is to catch up with some work until 3pm, do a forecast of money, write shopping list for items I forgot, make a nice warming tea to make everyone feel better, hoover through, clean kitchen and put another load of washing in. Then this evening from 5:30/6 is yard until 8 ish and then back home to probably fall asleep!
I'm also on the look out for a christmas elf as I want to do that this year - love the old style board for those kind of ideas.
Finally I would like to get some new recipes to make, first one is just a pilaff (sp?) one pot and I want to put some soups on so there's always something to have when DH and I get in from work/yard/walking the dog. The kids would turn their noses up at it of course!

Afternoon

My colleagues at work are finding out their fate today so it's not pleasant - I am going to keep my head down and get on with things as the last thing they want to see is someone who is overly happy they have a job.
I'm going to give update on all my accounts in another post as I think it's time to get a grip on it all again. I'm never going to have our life in the country otherwise.
I'm slowly getting back into things though this morning I was so tired it was unreal. Kids slept through which is good as their body clocks were to pot too. DH is still poorly but is getting there.
Tonight I'm cooking a lasagne which is the first time in ages as we've been dieting. I've got a few more winter warming ideas to try out too.Debt - CCV £3792

Wish I hadn't now.
Figures stand at:
RBS -£ 4,038.92
Virgin -£10,761.32
Tesco -£ 5,601.04
Car Loan -£14,687.15
Overdraft -£343.73
I have savings of £1123.50 but they are allocated - ie car, equine dentist, xmas budget etc.
So total owing is £35432.16 and this will be paid off by 25th March 2018. I also pay a student loan which I've not added on as I don't see the money so to speak - I'll just benefit from the extra cash once it's paid - that's my logic.
Back to debt busting - focus now will be on keeping christmas low budget.Debt - CCV £3792

Been to the yard and spent some lovely time with both horses. Missed them so much whilst been away. Big girl's still lame but I think we're going to leave her over the winter as I don't want to put her through another operation before xmas. Then in the New year we can re evaluate the situation. She's comfortable and will be on daily bute in the mean time and I'll walk her in hand and turn her out in the huge indoor we have so she won't be stuck in. (We don't have winter turn out).
Roll on the days when they live in my "garden"
I'm sat watching Hugh FW - it only makes me want a country lifestyle even more so!
On another note I'm starting to feel human again after the jet lags leaving me and DH is recovering finally so things may be looking up.
We're out tomorrow night and I'm not looking forward to it, one of those events you have to go to but CBA! I also need a gift for it too, will sort that tomorrow.
We're out for lunch Sat and Sun too so it's going to be a busy w/e - none of which I want to go to - how anti social does that sound - I just want to chill out though is what I mean.
No money spent tonight and diesel has lasted me well so I won't have to fill up until Sun.

Well that was an interesting last few days!! Thursday night I was struck down with the bugDH has meaning Friday was a no go for me. Luckily I have some lovely people around me who did horses for me. Saturday was touch and go, made it to theyard and had a nice morning but was ready to leave (which I never am!) and hadto keep my lunch appointment. Food waslovely but couldn’t stomach it and so Sat pm was quick feed and bring in fromfield then chilling in front of tv. Sunwas out for lunch, thought I was better – then clearly wasn’t! Friends came to visit Sun pm so kept mydistance then kids to bed and chilled out again. This morning I slept in thinking it wasSunday so had a mad dash to get kids off and me to work, only 20 mins late sonot too bad. Still not 100% but gettingthere.
So today is all about getting back to normal as I felt awaywith the fairies all last week following return from holiday. I’ve started off by bringing lunch in anddefrosting chicken for tea – this is a good thing as I’ve neglected to do bothlately!
I have ordered a xmas present for DD – a hoody with her andher ponies name on it – gorgeous! If it’sgood quality I may get one for DS who only goes twice a week and is more of adonkey ride as he’s only 3 – so so cute though.
I’ve got DH’s bday present which is on Friday so just needcards – I think I have some left on moonp1g actually so that may save me. They keep sending me emails begging me tocome back. I’ll make a list this week ofthings to get for xmas presents and then make a start on them. I’d also like my xmas cards written by endNov – we don’t have any international ones to post.
I put enough diesel in to hopefully last the week andgroceries are in. We’ll need more saladbut that’s all.
It’s awful at work at the moment as there’s a lot of peoplebeing put at risk with redundancies so tensions are running high and there’slittle meetings going on here andthere. I’m lucky enough to be one of the(now) 6 to keep a job but there are many of my friends who won’t have one. I have no idea what it will be like workinghere in the future, whether it will be a nice place or not. However I’m just thinking for now it’s a joband it’ll pay the bills until everything’s paid off and I can set up my ownyard. There’s the motivation to clearthe debts if ever there was one.

Well last night was supposed to be a chill out night but I ended up riding a bit of a naughty horse and to cut a long story short, after 30 mins of sitting his bucking, rearing and bronching I settle him down and we had an agreement going on however he broke that agreement when he threw me into a brick wall. Needless to say I'm in agony though thankfully nothing broken, only copious bruising and some swelling. A hot bath helped until I realised I couldn't get out!
Financially it's going well in that I've not spent anything I shouldn't have! I've got a couple of presents so am pleased with that as they were on offer.
On another good note I've been told my grade at work's chaging and it's gone up one (higher paid band) but I don't know if they are giving me an immediate rise or if it's next year in April when we normally have that discussion. I'm hoping to find out tomorrow.Debt - CCV £3792
