I have listed 3 things on ebay. I've started them all at 99p which may be silly when there's an unworn rug on there worth £40 min. :S I just hope the auctions take it up to their value. Also a cub saddle and my DD winter coat from last year. No pics yet, will get those tonight but just wanted the listing out there.

I have started researching into owning my own livery yard. I have a 5 year plan for paying my debt off and then I would like to leave office work and own and run a yard. This may take another x amount of years of saving up once I am DF but after gallygirls' inspiring post in caz's diary I would like to be ready to do it should the opportunity ever arise :) So much to learn!
At least it will keep me occupied!

I lunged pony last night and he was like he has a rocket up his behind so I'm glad DD didn't ride and if she was nervous and he was feeling fresh it'd make her worse. Not sure why he's like that as nothing's changed tho he's getting more field time than ever but would have thought he'd be nice and chilled. Anyway tonight he's going on the walker for 30 mins and then she will ride tomorrow morning. I'm not pushing her, she can do as much or little as she wants as I want it to be fun, we're not training for the Olympics!

Money wise I went to Aldi and spent £15 from my purse so that's good as it's not coming out the bank which is already short for the month. Hope the farrier is slow in cashing his chq then I will be ok lol.

I've advertised a few things on ebay some of which have bids (not surprised as are bargains but I didn't dare ask for alot) so fingers crossed they will sell well.

My chickens have started moulting and therefore stopped laying so I'm not pleased with them as the sun's still shining so they should be on full production!

Going to take the dog on a long walk tomorrow as he only goes round the houses really during the week. Same for Sunday.

Looking forward to spending time with my family at the weekend and I have a list of things I need to get done so hope to achieve that as will make me feel great.

Weight is back down to where I was pre mini holiday and after effects so I'm pleased with that. Still ploughing on with losing more though. Once the big girl is back in action that will help with toning again too :)

  • Great news, horsey is back in action and seemed fine when I rode on Sat. Bringing her in reasonably slowly and trying to build fitness again - she's not lost too much but I don't want to do further damage! Tonight will be lunging over a small x pole to see how she copes with that - she will be fine I'm sure. So great news there.

Pony is back to being a good boy after his "day off" the other day. A lovely little morning on Sat for DD to regain her confidence after he forgot to tell her he changed his mind about jumping the fence!

I did a grocery shop and feel like I got loads in, just under £50 and still in budget so good there.

I didn't use all my diesel last week so I'm being cheeky and put £10 less in this week so will see if I can manage it, tho I do have an extra trip to do today!

I've managed to get the rest of the holiday clothes I think so we should be good to go now. I am spending as little as possible which is hard when the kids don't have clothes that fit them any more and I rarely wear summer clothes so don't own many.

Kids here are back to school tomorrow so it's an early night for DD which she will not be impressed about but hey ho.

  • Student loan is coming down nicely - that's due to finish with last payment Feb 2016 which will be my first one gone! That's 31 more payments I think?

Business wise I ran the idea of a livery yard past hubby and he was all for it. I told him there would be no more hours like he has now and it's 7 days a week where no one wants to cover when you're on holiday. He said it'd be worth it which surprised me as I expected it to be a big hurdle! He was concerned that we wouldn't make enough money etc etc but we have 55 months to plan it so a small task lol!

  • I've paid 2 of the 3 card payments, the other comes out by DD.

I had a delivery of xmas presents which I will be stashing somewhere and will try not to forget where! That came out of xmas savings.

The kids are getting a main present each and a few stocking fillers. No piles and piles of gifts this year.

Oh - 1st item sold on ebay - very small amount! but a sale none the less. Others are selling well, esp the cub saddle and the rug.

  • Morning :)

Lunged the big girl last night over a small x pole and she was fine - she totally loved it and flew round, didn't do my heart any good!

DD is back to school today and she went in all smiles - it's lovely to see. Another academic year - growing so quickly.

I forgot the car is going in for a (pre paid) service today so I have to use the diesel for that which I'd hoped to manage on for the week.

I'm working on cv again this morning for draft 2, it's a long slow process as ages since I've done it. I don't think I have any chance of getting the role but at least my cv will be refreshed.

    Off to check my accounts.

  • Accounts were in order. I've taken the car to the garage and it's staying until tomorrow. What a trauma getting it there but it's done now.

I've got loads of watchers/small bids on the ebay items so I'll be rather pleased if they make a decent price.

I want to check how we're doing on the electricity and gas consumption as we've been making a concious effort to not use it!

Well the gaage called first thing and tried to get out of the service plan that's already been paid for - I hit the roof and told them to give me my money back for the car as we just bought it from them - trying to lumber me with a £500 bill! Strangely enough they now are doing it as it's suddenly "covered"......!

Have you ever said something you wish you hadn't - a senior manager in here got me in a tizz and I made a food of myself. His car pulled in behind mine this morning and I couldn't escape quick enough lol - happened ages ago and I still feel like a divvy!

Riding tonight and looking forward to it, first small jump in the saddle since her operation so I hope she copes ok - she was fine on lunge and I won't do any tight turns so fingers crossed. She is still getting her fitness back so I won't do too much.

I need to get some hard feed at some point too.

DD enjoyed going back to school so all is well there and DS starts nursery next week so big day for him then.

I have a feeling this month is going to be a very long one!

Spent £22 in Ald1 and got plenty to last me until over the weekend, that did include 2 radiator airers now that I'm not using the tumble dryer so would be nearer £16 without them.

I only have about £50 left for rest of the month so that is going to be very hard.

Still need to do the elec and gas readings to see how we're managing.

I've decided that the clothes we have for hols will have to do, I have no more money for any more so it's kind of decided for me anyway!

I've pretty much finished my cv - couple more bullet points to add then I'm sending it off tomorrow for this job. It's punching above my weight but at least I'm starting to think about it for when the redundancy comes through.

Rode the big girl and jumped a small cross and she was fine so I was very pleased! Pony had a night off as was short of time after collecting my car.
