Well wow where have the last few days gone!

Friday I managed to get everything done I hoped to in the house so I felt slightly more sane come Friday night. I can see things starting to slip again so I hoovered again tonight and am going to put a load of washing on shortly to dry it in the conservatory tomorrow on the airer. Saves pennies on tumble dryer still.

Saturday I ended up getting my Nana a lovely orchid as it will last her and was really pretty colour, should last longer than some of the flowers she got. I like the other ideas so I am going to keep them for Christmas :D She had a fab time so I am happy.

Sunday my hoss went in to the vets where she is staying this week :( She's having some tests and an op done to fix a problem she has and I miss her like crazy. I'm having my mind taken off it as I'm looking after a friends hoss, have my wee pony and still busy busy. Still can't wait to get her home - my stomach is churning constantly when she isn't here.

Monday I had a lovely lesson on my friend's horsey and feeling the after effects now, so I know I'm getting out of shape again! Lol.

Back to work this week and it's an uncertain time there at the moment with lots of redundacies however I am waiting to see what's happening before worrying too much.

OK so money wise I've not spent a penny today however had lesson money yesterday (budgetted for). The money for the new hoover came out plus fees for transporting hoss to vets - not budgetted for :( so again I need to figure out how to make some money to cover these costs.

Tomorrow we're meeting old colleagues for lunch so I will stick to the cheapest I can find and healthiest - the 2 don't go handin hand generally!

I have 1 stone to lose too, before the holiday we have in October :( I've already lost 1.5 stone :D

Right, off to put the washing in.

Right, washing in and some work done (I work strange hours some of which are from home).
The washer won't be finished before I go to bed so I will hang it out or in tomorrow morning, weather pending.
I am £5 up as just thought, yesterday's lesson was cheaper than budgetted for :D
It's going in the little box of tricks I have in my room as emergency money.

Hi debt free have just subscribed to cheer you along. I'm another busy working mum of 2 with a shed load of debt to shift and our bedroom has now got so bad it looks like a students rather than a teenagers and if Kim and Aggie were to appear at the door I think they would condem it :-)

Hi there to fellow messy bedroom or horse enthusiasts :)

Well my hoss has been looked at and to cut a long story short she's now having an op to right the wrong this afternoon. I feel sick to the stomach waiting to hear that she comes through it ok (not a dangerous op etc but has to have GA) and I should know by evening how it went. Hoping to get her home tomorrow if she manages ok after it. I can imagine her not being too pleased when she comes round after the GA to be locked in padded stable :(
On another note I am riding my friends horse tonight whilst she is away still so that will give us both some nice time out and a workout. Pony will also be ridden by my daughter, they are growing together - it's lovely to watch the bond forming. She is only 6 and we've had him less that 6 months so still early stages.

House wise I managed to get the kitchen in a good state before I left so I would allow someone inside the front door now if they knocked!

I didn't get the washing on the line tho :\ however I'll hang it out when I get it as there will still be some drying time.

Off to Aldi after work, must make a list, so I will have some spends there and also out to lunch as mentioned however tap water and a starter will do just fine for my diet and money diet!

Work is quiet after all the hoo-har we've been having. Hoping for a relaxing day!

Right lunch only came to £7 so that can come out of groceries this month. It was the cheapest option that was reasonably healthy! I am full tho so that's good!

Horsey will be getting ready for her op now. I can't wait to see her tomorrow.

Hi Livs, lovely to see you in here :D Thanks.

Little update, hoss came through op ok and can come home today so I've rejigged everything to bring her home this afty. DH is taking care of the kids for me and cancelled what he was due to do so I must remember to appreciate that. I am very concious that the horses take up alot of my time (I am not complaining lol, love it) so I must try to make our time together more special.

So now she needs to rest for a couple of weeks until the stitches heal and then we can slowly bring her back into work.

Weight loss wise I've lost another lb so that's 2 in a week and a bit (on top of 1.5 stone I have just lost) so I'm rather pleased with that. I'm getting full alot quicker so I know my stomach is starting to get back to my normal size again, pre baby size! A long time in the making.

Financially, pfff. I spent £2 today as I didn't bring lunch in, (first time for 2 weeks.) Also spent on groceries from budget but not on anything else so not too bad though I think I will need diesel sooner than expected due to the trip with hoss to vets.

Tonight I will be having another unbudgetted spend to bring her home - she is so worth it and fingers crossed the operation will have done the trick. Then when I get in some time with hubby!

Time to tighten the belt even more.
