    21. Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus 15ml - this was my second bottle and I'm actually starting to really like this, especially for morning use. I've moved on to the trial ones now so have another 4 weeks to go - you'd hope that I'd be able to make up my mind after all that time! Probably WBA.

Resisted going into Boots this week, so not aware of the 1/3 off Indeed Labs - thanks for the heads up.

Puppies, how wonderful, do I remember right that the new Mum is a Lab?, I hope that she gets the hang of motherhood soon, such hard work otherwise.
How long did the Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask last you?

Re: the anti-aging question, remember the SPF if you spend much time in the car, also on hands, great prog. on tv a while ago, it was amazing how much sun damage to the faces of guys who did lots of driving (I think it mainly featured men, to get home to them that they needed spf protection as well as women and sports people). De-hydration - I don't think I drink enough and this certainly makes the lines show up. Lastly if you sleep with your face pushed down into the pillow, pop a silk scarf on pillow and lie on that, it really makes a difference to those lines that take ages to disappear in a morning.

Maddie - yes the mum is a lab too, the whole birth ended up being very stressful, two injections to induce her then 4 hours between each puppy, she went completely crazy when the first one arrived. She is feeding them but not of her own accord she has to be put with them and other than that she totally ignores them. Hope she bonds with them soon.

    Afternoon everyone.

Dolly that sounds really difficult - I hope she takes to them soon as well.

I am gutted as I found out earlier today that an eyeshadow palette I have had my eye on for ages was reduced but has now gone back up to full price! Oh well, I can't afford it anyway but at the lower price it would have been rude not to :rotfl:

Can anyone recommend me a good face powder for someone with an oily chin :o I have tried so many but my chin is always oily again after a few hours :o

    Oh yes, 1 UU:

119: Bastiste Lace Dry Shampoo 200ml - WBA and already have. I always use this on days when I haven't washed my hair (usually every other day)

KT2802: have you tried mineral foundation? It's easy to layer and sort of like a powder. I used to have oily bits but after using mineral base for 2years it's sorted it out...or seems to have anyway :)
    Cookie, I think you're tame. :heart2:

Hi luvlycake - thanks for your reply.

I currently use bare minerals foundation but the original one doesn't seem to help with the oily chin :( I recently bought the matte version instead and am planning on using that once my other one runs out. Maybe that will help.

I've decided to include my make-up in this challenge now, I've hardly worn any over the past year and would like to get back into it all and feel a little more "girlie" than I have done recently. I think I let myself go a little in more ways than one, but not anymore! :)

So yesterday I decided to have a clear out to see what I have that's still of use. I ended up TA 5 old mascaras, however this still leaves me with 4 full size and 6 small size ones!

So far this evening I have TA 4 glitter gel eyeliners and kept 3 that still seem usable :) I'm going to have another look in a minute to see if there's anything else lurking in my drawers that can go!

*edit* a 2 true consealer and a Clinique lipstick now also TA! :)
  • Oh dear. Days off work are bad for me, I've decided!

7 Ins - I only actually bought one of them though and that was with Boots points!

I realised that the fewer "liquid" things I have with me on my travels the better, not least because there is less capacity for stuff to burst!

So off I went in search of the mini clinique soap bars. I got 3 little soaps for 1200 boots points - they were £14, but showing as £12 on the boots website, so they reduced them for me. I'll update my sig with the value in pounds though. 3x50g

    The rest are freebies

2x Clinique Clarifying lotion 30 ml each
2 x Drmatically different moisturizing lotion 15 ml
2x Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus Serum 15ml - I've never used serums before and explained I'm really bad at the whole going back thing, so the assistant chucked 2 in for me.

I'm quite impressed with my haul for no actual money changing hands though!
