  • Huzzah, let the bells ring out! The horrible Bayliss and Harding hand lotion has been defeated!
Nice enough product, but I don't really like lotion for hands or body, so I'm glad this is gone :)

    Evening ladies.

We start off with the good
    UU's
Seanik shampoo puck WNBA they really don't agree with my scalp and make me very itchy, but they are good a getting coconut oil out of it.
Happy hippy shower gel WNBA okay but expensive for what it is.
Cracker snap bath ballistic WNBA loved the scent but not the price (£7.50)
FP sugar buff in festival WBA very scrubby

Now for the not so good
    Glossy box 4 ins
    Birch box 5 ins
Boxdelux 3 Ins (already cancelled not worth the money)

I may have also put in an order with yves rocher oops.

I am having my lounge plastered tomorrow, it's very strange having no furniture in it,I am looking forwards to having it completed.

Welcome back VALM, and sorry to hear your news emsjune78, here's hoping this a fresh new start for you both xx

I have some updates from my long weekend away....

    UUs

Banana Boat Aloe aftersun spray 235ml - WDBA, perfect summer moisturiser and good for after waxing etc
Betty & Walter Fig & Pink Pepper Body Scrub 500ml - WNBA, ok scrub but the smell is far too much for me!
Elemis Japanese Camellia Body Oil Blend 100ml - WMBA, if it was on a good offer again
Jergens Aloe soothing body cream 200ml - WNBA, not too keen on the smell
Nivea Mini deo 35ml - Pearl - WBA, handbag essential
No 7 P&P Moisturising body serum 200ml - WBA despite the high price, it's very good when I want a super-light lotion
Philosophy Vanilla Frost shower/shampoo/bath 120ml - WBA, love all the Philosophy shower stuff
Sanctuary 12 hour moisturising shower cream 250ml - WNBA, it's ok, nothing special
The Body Shop Ice blue shampoo 250ml - WBA, but they don't do it anymore
Vaseline Aloe Fresh roll-on 50ml - WNBA, as it got halfway through, it kept clogging up
Wella Silvikrin hairspray 75ml - WBA, another handbag essential

    TA

Nails Inc. Kensington caviar top coat 10ml - WBA, very good topcoat, but I'd had it open for a couple of years and it had gone all gloopy

I'm using a L'Occitane Mint Verbena scrub at the moment and that is lovely and refreshing too. Only need a very small dab of it too to get a really good scrub.

I love L'Occitane Verbena. Last time I shopped there though I picked up a sale pack of 2 x body washes - one is cherry and the other citrus verbena which we're using as a handwash in the kitchen and it is devine. Will try and get more of this though probably next year now as it feels Autumnal already.

I own I Theodora You and love it. Personally, I find OPI lacquers have more staying power if I use Nail Envy under them rather than the OPI Base Coat.

Ooh I don't have anything from the Mint Verbena range, sounds right up my street! Agree with you though that Verbena is more of a summer range (the handcream was AMAZING during those hot few weeks) so I'll probably wait until next year now. Definitely feels autumnal here these last few days :(

Thanks for the tip about a base coat - I don't usually put anything on under or over a coat of nail varnish :rotfl:

First IN of the month Everpure Shampoo for Coloured Hair 250ml which will teach me to wear my glasses when I go shopping because the tube of shampoo and conditioner I had bought a while back turned out to be two tubes of conditioner. Duh!

This of course doesn't bode well and no doubt I will struggle even more to tell them apart if they are side by side in the shower
