I am having my lounge plastered tomorrow, it's very strange having no furniture in it,I am looking forwards to having it completed.

I know how you feel, we've just had new carpet in our lounge so had to remove all furniture etc, it looked so bare :(
Also everything was stuffed in the bedroom and kitchen so no room to move. Looks a lot better now though :)
    Errrr...come back later ;)

I now have my ceiling plastered and the walls prepared, so happy to finally be rid of the dado rail. I gave my sofas to a friend and have ordered new one to be delivered two weeks today and carpet next Friday. Just hope it dries quickly so I can paint it especially since my dad is coming over on Monday to fit new skirting board and arcatraves round to doors.

I think we have all used products by mistake, I have:
Put toothpaste instead of face scrub in my hand ( atleast I realised before I applied it to my face)
Mixing up shampoo and conditioner, used shower gel instead of shampoo ( not that it makes much difference)
I used my face serum in my hair instead of hair serum ( very similar sized bottles and did not look), it really does not work and makes your hair stiff so then needed rewashing.

    UU's
Simple oil balancing cleansing wipes WBA nice enough,
Caudalie SOS thirst quenching serum WBA love the product have a full size in stash
Ancienne ambience shower gel WNBA nothing special, very good for cleaning make up brushes

    GA
3 soap to friend including snowcake ( my favourite), Miranda and snow globe

    Some more UUs from me....

Dentyl Mouthwash Icy Fresh Mint 500ml - Enamel Care - WDBA, HG product
Philosophy Peppermintini shower/shampoo/bath 180ml - Love these but not mad about this variant
Burt's Bees Mango & Orange Sugar Scrub 225g - Very nice but lasted only one shower! Admittedly I do have a rather large area of skin to cover but this hardly spread on the skin at all, and comes in a really small pot compared to other brands. Got it on clearance for £3.25 in Boots, WNBA.

I decided to UU some skin creams/body lotions that were rapidly going off and otherwise not being used, I mixed them all together and poured in a load of gone-rock hard brown sugar, now have a rather nice brown sugar scrub! I tried some of the Philosophy cream the other day, can't describe the smell but it's not a nice one!

    Nivea Crème (50ml)
    Olay SPF30 day lotion 75ml
Philosophy Hope in a jar 12ml
    Garnier Dark Spot Corrector 50ml
    Vaseline Tin 20g

Anyone have any funny/embarrassing stories about unintentionally using a product in a way it was not designed for (printable ones):rotfl:

I have - sprayed flies with hairspray, sprayed hairspray under arms, tried to wash hair with conditioner and wondered why it did not lather:o:o:o

I now try to have a system for placing products on shelf, as suggested by kaddison, latest near miss was toothbrush and 7 day scrub cream, I realised just in time.

My biggest near miss was nearly putting hair removal cream on my toothbrush, others include trying to use feminine wash as conditioner and air freshener instead of deodorant lol!

Well I have some INs but they arent technically ins as I havent bought them...just found at the bottom of the wardrobe!!

    Fearne Body Polish 200ml
    Fearne Body Wash 200ml
    Fearne Body Lotion 200ml
    Fearne Hand Lotion50ml
    Fearne Body Spritzer 75ml
    Fearne Mascara 8ml
Fearne Eye Colour Compact 6 shades at 6g

Its all a big gift set, think a friend got this for me for my birthday this year! Also I really need to get into a routine of using body lotion/moisturiser every day. Would really help my stash go down quicker!

    2UU:

Garnier Mineral Roll-on 48hr deodourant - WBA, it's a decent deodourant and does the job. Already have another bottle (stocked up while it was on offer)

BS Seaweed facial toner - WNBA I don't normally use cleansers and toners, this was part of a gift pack I bought myself and took a lot of perseverance to get through!

Quite pleased with myself, as I've had 8 OUTs and only 4 INs this month, meaning I only have 10 more INs than OUTs since starting this challenge. Still a long way to go, but I have a few splutterers.
  • Another UU to report - Lancome Pure Focus moisturising Lotion - 5ml GWP. WDBA - this seems to be made for oily skin, not stupidly dry skin :p it was a nice texture though, just not right for my skin.

I wonder what it says about me that I used it anyway instead of throwing it away? *rolls eyes*

In other news, I have been REALLY good and avoided temptation. The Superdrug Hot Oil Cleanser nearly turned out to be my nemesis. After all the rave reviews I am really tempted. Especially as it's on offer, but I have about 4 cleansers/face washes in the stash still. The offer WILL come around again, repeat ad infinitum...

:D Yes it will, everything comes round again, you only need to look at the number of Body Shop and Boots offers that they have on, and yet a month later they are back on again :A

Can I ask, out of interest, just how many people do use the Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream?

Also, when do you use it and where?

    I'll start the list....
