Tell me about it. I would keep clear of the mortgage boards, I keep reading the horror stories and start panicing. I don't think I'll stop freaking out until I have the keys in my hand. Our estimated completion date is November though (vendors have part exchanged) so even longer to panic :rotfl:

I'm now hoping that my student loan goes in ok as its paying my stamp duty (if all goes well)

I've seen a few of your veggies, you inspired me to grow lettuce...so I did :) eaten it all now though, all 3 leaves :D:D

I'll take a picture tomo and post it on here. I'm expecting the worst; overgrown mess with a rotten shed but the lady said she's also showing someone else around another plot at the same time so perhaps a few have retired...(or evicted, gulp!)

Also, yesterday I heard that DS1 is one of 10 finalists in the Little Heroes competition for calling 999 when his Dad had a seizure and looking after his little brother until the paramedics arrived. http://www.wackywarehouse.co.uk/littleheroes/

  • That's so kind of you, thanks Aesop! He's currently in 4th place so every vote counts as he has to finish in the top 3 to be in with the chance of winning overall.
