Would you lie to be able to send an application?

True, these are probably done-deals anyway hence the high first filter but ask yourself, would you really want to work for anyone that has that kind of view of a relatively trivial position? I tend to look on any irregularities in the way a post is advertised as an indication that the organisation is not particularly professional and working for them would not be pleasant anyway.0 -

I would email the company or agency to get round the questions - easy. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

True. Most ask for the similar though, they just don't have the questions.
If I looked at how unprofessional job ads were and didn't apply for any that seemed unprofessional I wouldn't be applying for any jobs lol. It's very rare I find any that are truly professional, well written and have all the important details.0 -
Oh I don't really know why you asked then.
I would email the company or agency to get round the questions - easy.
I asked because I find jobs like this all the time and wondered what others thought of the situation. Why would I need to be applying for one specific job to need to know if other people would lie on questions to send an application?
Easy if you know the company or if the agency actually bother replying.0 -

Even if didn't lie you still probably wont hear back from 99% of them. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Its not about if you get a reply its all about applying.

Yeah, but if you apply direct for a job advertised on another site you need to know the right person actually got the application and that you have applied for it and not just sent your details to some random person in an agency who couldn't care less.
Most sites I apply through don't give details of who within the agency is dealing with the job so you couldn't possibly direct it to the right person.0 -

So if you know the agency just email them or try LinkedIn as its probably there too.
Yes, but again you need to know it's going to the right person and most of the job ads never say a name.
In my experience each job has one person who deals with it and it seems other staff never have any clue what that person is doing or who they've contacted.0
