Packing now is putting half my clothes in his case and half his clothes in mine, so we both would have some at least if one case went missing.

We are only away until sunday...therfore only packed the one case...I say only until sunday but that now feels weeks away!

I can't work out how this is your husband's fault. It appears that you were the one responsible for it. Or you could have just asked him to take it to the car :)

Er... putting bags in the car is a MAN job?!?!?

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

the voice of reason...no its no more his fault than mine or indeed my responsibilty any more than his ...he's no clothes and bits either....trying to make light of the situation...afterall whilst it might be fun trying to live without clothes other than the ones we stand up in....the other guests in the hotel might not take too kindly to the "natural" look

    onwards and upwards!!

I feel like i've stumbled into a thread started in the 1940's..mens jobs and womens jobs...really? Myself and every single female I know would never pull the pathetic female routine to get bins emptied etc..I could never be friends with a female who behaved like that

OP see the silver lining, its an excuse to buy new clothes! Yay! Don't be peeved with your OH will just ruin the holiday. I'd be more distressed about the make up :(
The opposite of what you know...is also true

On a practical note - does someone else have access to your home? Could they arrange a courier to have it delivered to you tomorrow? it would be cheaper than buying all new stuff. No more than £50 i would have thought.
