Oh didnt realise 18185 was a prefix for cheaper calls. I currently use 18866 for day calls.

I have read some bits about skype with the 3 phones but dont fully understand it. Do i have to have one of the x series packages to be able to use that feature do i? Then when i use it do i have to pay anyone other than 3?

So as long as a handset has 3g ability the '3' sim will work in it then?

    Thanks

no no no 18866 went out the window with Kylie's chemo wigs ( ah bless the poor dahl )

18185 is its sister company & I think you need to be updating your MSE knowledge portfolio :)

    yip for 3G mobile & 3 sim

skype program on mobile just dials out to a 3 number and your connected that way, with the xseries internet from £5 a month you can use 3rd party Symbian programs on your moible which connect to internet, Yahoo GO, MSN messenger, Tom Tom mobile ( stops the standard couple arguing over directions ) Fring - which I mentioned signs me into Skype, MSN and other
( free to aquire incoming number - why pay skype ) VOIP ( think skype )
    numbers

3's Skype is only skype to skype calls but with Fring I get to use Skype for outgoing landlines & conserve my 3 mins for mobile to mobile calling & you pay nowt for " ladline " calls with certain VOIP companies ( not Skype - handy for international people wanting to talk to you though ;))

    oooppppsss
landlines - sounds like them dirty chat lines lol

Cheers diamonds any help appreciated.I was on talk and text 1100 but to be honest I dont need many texts I mainly use up the calling minutes(+ about 100 texts a month). Also would use N95 for browsing alot so would need a Data deal aswell.I like the t-mobile deals but unless I sign for 18 months they want to charge for phone, whereas orange and voda are giving phone for free on 12 month contracts.

womble ive been raving about orange recently for halving my communications to £50 pm, is you broadband in contract ? by thay way set up x series for your son - messaging and voip for landlines & his 500/100 will last !

Voda for N95 browsing is a no no the data deals just dont cut the mustard - Orange £8 unlimited browsing would though & it seems to have gone LIVE! you can even VOIP your son ;)

18 months on T-mobile does not even include VOIP, Voda niether, Orange seems the way to go..... talk n text 1100 was how many mins? and was it enough for you ? would you like a little more ? or less ?

It included 600 mins...........and I normally went over by about 1-200 each month.Got a couple of months left on my broadband(BT) .And you will have to go a little bit more into x seris set up............I'm a bit of a phone dummy when it comes to all that lol
