Moved House and Orange/EE no signal in area
Comments

Recently moved home and have no Orange (T-mobile or EE) signal and am signed up to an expensive business contract with lots of free minutes I cannot use......Orange are unable to help. They do have a signal boost box call a Femtocell but they are only giving them out to businesses byt he sound of things. The Femtocell redirects your mobile number and all calls via your home wifi. This would work for me as I work from home most of the time ....however the Femtocells are selling on ebay for £250+. I'm already paying £40+ to Orange so am loath to buy this. Does anyone know of any other ways to link my Orange mobile number (using a Samsung Galaxy Note II) to wifi without having to buy the Femto!?
As a patch I've set up a Skype account on my mobile and have forwarded (via call forwarding on my phone) all calls to skype. This way my business calls are still reaching me. I'm calling out using skype too (have purchased a landline skype number and skype credits) but really frustrated that I cannot use my free orange minutes that i'm paying through the nose for.
You may be able to pick up on the fact that i'm mildly unhappy with the situation!!!0
