Hi guys,
I saw tinned potatoes in my local supermarket and wondered if anyone has any decent recipes using them?
My husband reckons they'd be horrid no matter what you do with them...but there must be a way of cooking them so they taste ok, isn't there?
Can anyone help please?

I love tinned spuds. I rinse them and heat them in fresh unsalted water. You could slice them and make a Spanish omelette?"Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

I always have some in the cupboard but I can't stand them just reheated.
However, they are really good when sliced and fried until crisp and golden
Or, fried and then used in a Spanish omelette.0 -

You can roast them or use in a corned beef hash or pie, slice and fry, slice on top of a hotpot, make into wedges and top with mixed herbs or all purpose seasoningBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

When I think of tinned potatoes it reminds me of the camping trips we had as a kid. I don't know of any recipes but am interested in this thread as they are cheap and ive often wondered what I could use them for (I am not over keen on them on their own)0
