Windows phone......

I have a Lumia 920 obviously with WP8 and it is fine, the apps on the whole are stable, and as people posted above, things are generally fine.
Tbh, there's pretty much an app for all the problems people highlight including 3rd party full feature instagram apps now.
Since I got the phone last year WP8 has come on a lot and the games/apps have increased in number dramatically.0 -
I loved the Windows Phone that I had, but at my last upgrade, decided to dip my phone back into the Android realm.
WP works really well, however people always seem to complain about the lack of apps - which is something that never really bothered me tbh. Lets face it - how many ringtone apps and 'fart' apps do you really need?
Windows Phones just work - you don't need to faff around with them all the time - but of course - it's horses for courses, and everyone has a choice and everyone definitely has an opinion!0 -
Lack of apps is the only drawback with Windows Phones, but you must remember the system is still fairly new. But as others have said, the hardware is much better than many of the phones on the market... have you seen the Nokia Lumia 920's camera?
The problem is people won't buy cause of lack of apps, so app developers don't bother developing, so people don't buy.
Never really understood the fascination with Instagram myself, but an official app is coming.
iPhone - Quality Apps
Android - Many Apps
Windows Phone - Slow to get apps.
I don't use that many and having a Windows Phone means I use the phone as a functional device, not something I waste hours on playing stupid games.0 -
OK im a lumia 800, and its not compatible with my phone.
I guess i need to do the update thats available.
My phone is a business phone, and i didnt have a say in the handset i got!
So you are stuck on an older WP7 phone and feel it makes you capable of passing judgement on the current phones and WP8 software?
That's a bit like a Windows XP user giving an "expert" opinion on Windows 7 without ever having used it.====0 -
OH has the lumio 800 but hates that he can't enlarge the text size on messages.
