Spendy day today alreadyLack of food in the house so had to buy lunch. But in saying that, I opted for smoked ham sarnies from £land, rather than a £3 subway
That has to count for something!
Can't decide if I'm going to keep the trousers I bought yesterday or not! OH and the girls thought they looked great (and OH can be shocking blunt so I know he's not lying!!), but I'm just not sure....!
EDIT: Here's a pic of the trousers. They are lovely. But they're sposed to be ankle cut whereas they're half way up my calves coz I'm tallPlus they're tight/slim fit on the legs which is grand, but feel loose round the front pockets. I know chinos aren't mean to be tight but the larger size was hanging off me and just did not feel nice at all.... What to do....
Anyway, have a great day everybody
I didn't even known £land sold sarnies, that's a good tip
Those trousers look like they were made for someone tall, but I know what Kerri means if you've been used to wearing something else it will feel strange for a while. I've worn shorts so much this summermy jeans felt strange when I went back to them. Good discount if they are well made and feel nice.
Get the OH to take a photo of you in them & see if you like it?
NSD 16 please, went to Mr SBies (I like their basics range:eek:) tonight but non paying lodger paid for the lot  and put it away!
Fedup, my day was tragic too:( but it'll feel better in the morning (I'm telling myself that) can see bank holiday waving in the distance

Good Morning Folks from a rather sore Red:(
Circuits were torturous on Monday night and of course I had to compound things by doing Kinesis at the gym yesterday morning! My calfs feel as though they should belong to someone else! No NSD for me to report from yesterday, as I went to a local bargain store and had a spendy.
Kerri, I hope you can walk after boxing training and I feel your pain! My spanish chicken has chorizo, passata, garlic, hot and sweet paprika, chicken stock, black pepper and cannelini beans in it. I normally use the whole chicken and chop it into about 8 pieces for 4 dinners. I don't normally weigh out the ingredients or anything, but if you or anyone else would like the Red version, I will measure the ingredients next time I make it:D!
Sazzie, the selection sandwiches available in £land is obviously quite limited, due to them being cheap, but I know some people from work have eaten them and think they are ok for the price!
Freeby, once again thanks to you and everyone else who does the updates and thank the lord it is hump day.
Getting there slowly, good news on the NSD front and I hope you are feeling better soon.
I am taking Friday off, so nearly the end of the week for me:T
I hope everyone else is well:)If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

Keep them and enjoy them, you'll kick yourself if you don't.Those trousers look like they were made for someone tall, but I know what Kerri means if you've been used to wearing something else it will feel strange for a while. Thanks for all the input guys!!
Spent a bit of time yesterday googling to see what they're supposed to look like on!! :rotfl: Some are mid-calf, some are skimming the ankle. Some are quite tight, some are more loose. Most with heels of some description. But girls figured I could wear the likes of canvas pumps with them (and why do retailers insist on models having bare feet?! Doesn't really help when you're trying to figure out what footwear to choose!!!! :rotfl:)
Kerri, I used to live in big baggy clothes all the time. Bought my first pair of skinny jeans about 5 years and wasn't sure if I'd even wear them. Now I live in skinny jeans. So combats and chinos are alien to me at the minute. Should really give them a chance, huh?!
Ah great idea sazzie! Think I might do that later. Never looks the same to yourself as it does to other people!!!Boxing at boot camp today - loved it - not sure I'll be able to walk tomorrow though
 Fair play to you!! Would love to do something like that! Lived to tell the tale I hope!!
I did a 30 min DVD last night and my hearing has gone in one ear. Again. Apparently overdid it and can't control my breathing properly. Was meant to be cycling to work this morning but coz of my ear, my balance is off, so figured I better walkI didn't even known £land sold sarnies, that's a good tipThey were actually rather tasty! Smoked ham, mayo and tomato relish on wholemeal bread!
