Sazzie & Marmite, finger healing nicely thank you. Think I might start wearing goggles when fishing just in case. Terrified of losing my sight.

Hugs to all in need of one.

    Googles sound good.
Loosing sight is a dire thought.

so you're keeping them then? I used to wear heels a lot and this summer have lived in sandals and ballet pumps (which my OH dislikes but I've ignored him on that one :p)

I know what you mean about skinny jeans, when I got my first pair I would only wear them under long boots as thought my feet looked odd with skinnies and pumps / trainers, now I live in my skinny jeans a lot of the time.

    Know the feeling!! :)

Yeah apparently I am keeping them :o Tried them on with a load of shoes/boots last night and I'm liking them a lot now :)

Well done on your boot camp btw! :T

Can't decide if I'm better with the karrimor trainers I got yesterday, or asics trainers I spied today! Need to use them for zumba and running and cycling and workout dvds....

NSD #7 today - assuming I don't nip out and get the other trainers...! :o

    EDIT:
    ...which I did :o
But will be getting a refund of the karrimors (tomorrow) which will cancel that spend out. That ok still!?

Still no sign of another NSD and can't see another one until at least next Wednesday and there's only 9 days left this month, surely I can capture another 2 before then?

Have managed only one NSD this month so far!! :(

Am struggling to keep control of my finances, and am going away in early September and have had to buy euros, etc. so been a very spendy month. Still have yet to get sunglasses and a bag, and so will probably need to put these on the credit card as don't have enough cash :(

Some months can be a nightmare. You'll get back on track,I'm sure.I hope that you have a great holiday.:)

Goggles sound like a good idea!

    if :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:!!!

I've just about managed to spend all of this week's grocery budget (Thursday to Thursday). My next spend day is hopefully not until Monday and is budgeted for.

    Have a good evening all.
  • Modesty ouch that sounds painful!

I used to fish loads when I was wee - my grandad was brilliant & made his own rods / flies etc :D

I've been thinking about it recently as I've seen a few rods at reaonable prices (Al*di or Li*dl can't remember which had fishing stuff not that long ago & also been to Go*outdoors!) BUT not sure about going on my own ..... (don't know anyone else who fishes!)

Most of my savoury cooking takes the 'chuck what qty I have to hand / looks right' in the pot. Baking not so forgiving so do half stick to the rules for that

Must be why I can't bake then ;) "chuck em" things work really well BUT sometimes it's frustrating if something's been really good & you can't remember quite what went in it :o
Went for a day spa. Oh my goodness it was amazing. Xmas vouchers used for the day (£200) and as I took my friend she paid for the cream tea and smoothie.

Ohhhhh *sigh* that sounds absolutely wonderful :D

Well errrrr finally struggled to No 3 yesterday :o

Really must sit down and have a think about Sept budgets and get a bit more organised (I can't believe I'm struggling to get to 5!)

    It's nearly wiggle day ....:D
