Kerri, I hope you can walk after boxing training and I feel your pain! My spanish chicken has chorizo, passata, garlic, hot and sweet paprika, chicken stock, black pepper and cannelini beans in it. I normally use the whole chicken and chop it into about 8 pieces for 4 dinners. I don't normally weigh out the ingredients or anything, but if you or anyone else would like the Red version, I will measure the ingredients next time I make it:D!

Red - I would say stick with it, it gets easier...but I've been doing this for 16mths and I still hurt - perhaps it means our pain thresholds get higher and we put in more effort :rotfl:

Most of my savoury cooking takes the 'chuck what qty I have to hand / looks right' in the pot. Baking not so forgiving so do half stick to the rules for that - although do have a habit of mixing two recipes at once where I can get away with it. The only savoury qtys I really pay attention to are spices.
Thanks for all the input guys!! :D
Kerri, I used to live in big baggy clothes all the time. Bought my first pair of skinny jeans about 5 years and wasn't sure if I'd even wear them. Now I live in skinny jeans. So combats and chinos are alien to me at the minute. Should really give them a chance, huh?! :o

 Fair play to you!! Would love to do something like that! Lived to tell the tale I hope!!

so you're keeping them then? I used to wear heels a lot and this summer have lived in sandals and ballet pumps (which my OH dislikes but I've ignored him on that one :p)

I know what you mean about skinny jeans, when I got my first pair I would only wear them under long boots as thought my feet looked odd with skinnies and pumps / trainers, now I live in my skinny jeans a lot of the time.

Hmmm...well I lived to tell the tale of yesterday's boot camp, albeit that I can feel a number of muscles where I was punching. however, was back there at 6.30am and did a session which is basically based on a set of training the Navy does. Actually beat my PB in one of the sets which I was chuffed about (4 1/2 times through, and the navy target is 4 - though I am sure theirs is tougher in reality) However there was some sprinting in it, plus about +250 squats, so coupled with yesterday it's a tad painful to...errr...well move right now :o Oh and the cherry on the top was another one of 'those' bites I keep getting

Not a NSD today either :o couple of bits in Waitys (cheapest place for bicarb which I've run out of)...errr...and I might have ordered a top from Oa$is while they have free delivery...but i did get 5% cashback :p:D

Funny, I think it's always Aug I tend to fall off the wagon.

    Good Evening Folks:),

I had a completely busy day at work, with this morning being bad (or so I thought) and the afternoon totally worse:(!! No NSD today, as I went out and had a spendy at lunchtime:o
I am hopeful I can add to my tally of NSDs tomorrow, but will see what happens! I hope everyone is well and has had a good day. I am off to bed to read my Kindle as I am away early in the morning to the bad place (aka the gym:eek:). Sleep well folks:)
If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

  • Evening all

NSD #6 today. Went for a day spa. Oh my goodness it was amazing. Xmas vouchers used for the day (£200) and as I took my friend she paid for the cream tea and smoothie.

So far this week I have only spent budgeted money and although these are spend days in my rules, I am chuffed I haven't spent on unbudgeted items. :j

    Hope everyone is well.

Have managed only one NSD this month so far!! :(

Am struggling to keep control of my finances, and am going away in early September and have had to buy euros, etc. so been a very spendy month. Still have yet to get sunglasses and a bag, and so will probably need to put these on the credit card as don't have enough cash :(
