Get well soon to all those feeling under the weather.

Ruby...thanks for info re pineapple, ulcer has almost gone now, but will remember tip for future reference.

Nice day here to-day, no rain so DD4 cycled over (9 miles) with Bran and he and Mossy had a great 'play date'. OH took us out for lunch as there was a voucher to use up....they both had steak and I had chicken, very nice although think that their portions are smaller than they used to be...we decided again pudding or coffee as that really hikes up the cost.

Paid a visit to Lidl this evening as they have wool on offer....spent almost €20 so wool will go towards baby gifts for grandniece/nephew due in October...have some pink stuff in reserve but need some white and blue to be sure.

Cooler here to-night....I almost had to put a cardi on, but will suffer on, can't be letting myself give in!

My teeth have been a nuisance to me since I got them as an infant, had all my milk teeth out when I was 5...can't remember why now, but lost quite a few in my 40s. Had to have some more out earlier this year, I have gum disease and now have only six teeth left on bottom, thought about a denture but it would cost €1250 so will have to wait....there are so many things here waiting for a lotto win that it will have to be a huge one to take care of them all!

Ginto...glad that you are enjoying your DD's visit so much....its wonderful when you see them after a long gap isn't it?
