Grey and rainy here today and my joints have been giving me gip for daysI hate when the weather changes
Back on the tramadol, but that means that I am not entirely "with it" iyswim
To top it all I fell in the kitchen again yesterday, luckily DD was there.
DS cleaned his pit of doom yesterday because I threatened to go up there with a bin bag or six and he brought down............ 30 cups and glasses, 47 knives forks and spoons, 6 plates, 4 bowls and a full laundry bin    DH told me to watch a film and I could hear a couple of "OMG if your Mum sees that you are dead" sort of remarks from DH and DD then lots of washing up being done :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:strange what a threat can do isn't it;)
I am popping round to see Dniece today, she was feeling really sick yesterday bless her. She gets married a week on Saturday, so I hope that she feels better for her big day. Her chemo finishes in October and they have already said that things are looking good for a full recovery :j
Hester I hope that all goes well at the Doctors and that you will feel better soon x
(((((gentle hugs)))))
dumpling I hope that today goes well and that you have a good time in spite of all of the anxiety.
NAR glad to hear that you have managed to sort out some money to put in the bank. Careful you are not accused of money laundering

Morning all,
Good to see you posting again Hester. I hope all goes well at the doctors.
All is well with me, except ive got a very screwed up pc. I cant do anything with it. It keeps telling me new updates are available, i install them, reboot the thing and a few minutes later it tells me new updates are available.
I cant change my search provider which is stuck on Bing when i want Google. I wish i'd never bothered with Windows 7 now.
The latest thing now is i cant download software. I tried to go back to IE 9 this morning thinking 10 might not be compatible and i cant download it.
Hubby says its either incompatibility somewhere a long the line or ive deleted something. Ive deleted everything ive put on and it still doesn't work.... Oh what have i done?
Anyway, apart from that all is well with me. Baby Lucas has now got used to his bottles and i am assured he's got a fair set of lungs.:D I shall be going to see him this evening. Daughter is giving him his first bath and wants me to be there.:)NAR If you have too much money you can always move a bit in my direction!
No it was my hubby with the money. NAR is skint!
Unfortunately hubby is going to need a new car sooner or later but i'm hoping to persuade him to pay cash for it instead of having a loan.... Buying cars/caravans got him into debt in the first place. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
judi, I hate it when my computer doesn't work properly.
I'm completely non techie, but have you considered a system restore to take it back to a time when it was working ok?
Well it's raining now, so I probably won't get any garden work done.
My general plan is to have a mooch round the shops, get some salad stuff in, and then come home and finish off the housework. I used to do it all in a blitz on Monday, but either I've got slower, or I'm doing more, as it always spills over into Tuesday now.
Have a nice dayEarly retired - 18th December 2014

Morning all
HH hang in there; wishing you a speedy recovery.
About to start 4th full day of DD visiting. We have been shopping, visited Sudeley Castle, had a cream tea, visited a good friend for coffee, had DD's hair cut, went out for dinner with another old friend, and more shopping. Phew!
Today we are having a rest (that means housework for me) and packing a few things as we are going to Cornwall for four nights tomorrow. OH found a nice hotel on a last minute site so fingers crossed.
Still trying to be OS-DD found a voucher for our meal out last night and I am making lentil lasagne for dinner this evening. I am hoping they have Wetherspoons in Cornwall. A few bottles of wine have been consumed though since Friday.
Well hugs and kind words for all who need them and poorlies, I am thinking of you.
Have a good day all.

I tried taking it back as far as the day Windows 7 was installed but it wouldn't restore that far back. So i tried going back as far as it would let me but i'm still having problems.Judi, have you uninstalled IE10 ? you will have to do this before you can reinstall 9
No i didn't know this. Thanks.
Thing is, i'd post on the Techie board if i knew where to start.:(
I really, really, really don't want to install Windows again.:wall:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Morning all,
bright but fairly cool here today.
We finished our major spring clean last night - which now means we have a pile more stuff for the skip and no plans for going until next week at the earliest so now our little hall is cluttered with junk, and the bins full and not due to be emptied for another week and a half!
Bf heads off to camp today; he's back Thursday night before going away again Monday till Wednesday, back two nights then away again for 9 nights from the Friday! ahh the life of a jet setting athlete!
Plenty to do whilst he's gone; lots of clean clothes to fold/iron and get away. Loads of paperwork to sort and generally things to find homes for!
Got home last night to find bf had his mum painting my kitchen. She's done a pretty decent job but some needs tidying up and the lighter colour (we now have a darker feature wall and 3 walls in a lights colour!) needs another coat - I'm going to try and do that one night this week...not sure how I'll get on with that though!
Spag bol left overs for lunch and the same again for my dinner (I'm just so adventurous!) to use it up rather than freeze it seeing as we need to vacate the freezer. Need to work out what I will use from the freezer tomorrow. Chicken dinner perhaps so roasties, veg, Yorkshire, chicken...hmm we will see what happens!
Well I had better get off and do some work.
Catch up with you all later!************************************

Hi Tru,
I so know where you are coming from with teeth, after having three out in 18 months I'm waiting to have a small denture made when my gum heals. In the meantime I've still got a dull ache. I'm sure it's one of the back teeth but can't pinpoint it and just keep hoping it will go away. I'm seriously starting to think that I know more about my own teeth than any so called professional dentist:mad:Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
