Urgh, she is still messaging me saying how out of pocket she is, that I'm being unreasonable and how she has bent over backwards to resolve the issue. She has also said that I've stolen from her as she accidently gave me s refund for one top by accident?! And that I need to send her the money back??
Do I have to respond or can I just ignore her now, then escalate?

If what she is saying is nothing close to even trying to resolve it, just ignore her, let her rant and rave and escalate when you can. Then neg feedback, hit her stars (including the contact one!) and block her.

Is this all through the messaging system on ebay?

She is now saying she'll send replacement items and send me photos of the items. When dialogue was a bit more productive I'd said that is accept alternative clothes if she sent through photos of the items, and I agreed that I wanted them (its baby clothes, so only want things I'd be happy to put my lo in). She still hasn't done this, and is ranting about how I've stolen from her because she accidently refunded an item. She won't suggest any alternative ckothes until I return the money I 'stole'.
Communication doesn't seem productive to me anymore - I'd think the ball is in her court really, if she wants to resolve this she should surely be showing me what she could send as a replacement?
Oh and also this is apparently all my fault because I wouldn't pay her an extra fiver for trackabke postage? Surely for it to be trackable doesn't even cost that much?! Her auctns all said second class standard as the postage method.
Also, just to check, if she has proof of postage she can get at least some of her postage back from royal mail?

Forget about any replacements and let the case sort itself, escalate as soon as you can and get your refund and purchase from someone else.

If I were you I would send her one last polite email stating the facts. What you bought, what you paid for plus postage, what you received (nothing) and what you want refunding. I would then ignore any further communication from her unless she refunds in full - just escalate the claim when you can. I would also refuse the offer of alternative clothes and block her from buying from you.

The seller should then be able to reclaim some of her loss from the post office.

    Good luck.

Ignore her messages and escalate on the 04th. Not all sellers are rubbish but you have a bad one

Cases resolved, eBay refunded each purchase plus the postage :-) thanks for all the replies. I've since bought an outfit for a wedding for my dad, which arrived quickly and is beautiful, faith restored!

    Just curious now
Did ebay issue a courtesy refund or did they make seller pay?
If it was a courtesy refund your email would've been like this
"We have decided to issue you a courtesy refund for this case on Apr 0x, 20xx to the PayPal account you used to purchase this item. The refund includes the purchase price plus original shipping. Please log in to PayPal to get your refund. This case is now closed, but you can view the details of the case in the Resolution Center."

The money was refunded I to my bank account from the sellers PayPal account, so I assume they took the money from the seller.
