problem with ebay seller

I've not bought much on eBay, so not sure how this would work. Story so far...
I won six baby outfits. I'd emailed the seller prior to bidding to see how much combined postage would be, and seven pounds was agreed.
No sign of items two weeks after I paid. I emailed seller, and she said she had only just posted them as she had been ill. Still no sign two weeks on.
I emailed her again and got no reply, so i opened up cases to say I hadn't received the items.
Seller has now said that she has proof of postage (2nd class, not recorded) and that eBay have told her she doesn't have to give me a refund because she has proof of postage and she states in her auctions that she doesn't give refunds?
Seller now wants me to close the cases and accept two primark outfits instead of the six John Lewis and next outfits I originally won. She keeps going on about ho much money she is losing by having to send me anything else. She seems to forget I'm down almost twenty quid with no baby clothes to show for it,
What should I do? Never had any problems with purchases on eBaybefore so really not sure of the rules!
Thanks

Seller is an idiot.
Whatever you do Keep the case open, if she cannot prove delivery she will lose the case and eBay will force her to refund you.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Escalate the case when you are able to. Without proof of DELIVERY, they will lose the case.0
-
As others have said, esclate the case (think its 7days after you opened it) and you will get a full refund.
I would also ask them to take a pic of the receipt and email it to you. This will prove If they sent it and will reflect in the feedback you leave.:heart2:Mummy to a beautiful little girl:heart2:

Thanks for the speedy responses! I'm actually starting to get quite stressed out emailing her about it to be honest.
She is now saying she won't give me any pics of the clothes, only of the postage receipt.
How would I escalate it? Do I need to wait a certain length of time?
I've stated I won't close the cases until they're resolved.
I feel I've been very reasonable with the seller, and I just want a refund son I can buy something else for my wee one!0 -
If you look at the case details, it will tell you what date the seller must resove by. This is the date you can escalate. Ebay will then review the case and decide in your favour if there is no proof of delivery.
Don't enter into any more dialogue. Just escalate the case when you can.0 -
The others are correct, escalate after the 7 days & you will get your refund including postage. Your seller will have to claim from Royal Mail for her loss. May be wise though just to check with your Collection office that the parcel isn't waiting for you to collect wouldn't be the first time they forgot to leave a card.0

Ah, OK I found the bit and it says I can escalate it if not resolved by 4thof august. Will just ignore her now, she's getting really quite angry and aggressive in her responses.
I checked my sorting office about a week after she said she sent it. I live in a rural area so know my regular postie, and he h since checked the office again for me, but no sign.
I had always quite enjoyed buying things on eBay, but this has really put me off. Might just use Gumtree instead!
Thanks for the help :-)0 -

Don't be put off. The seller is a muppet and will not be selling for much longer if this is their approach.
Once you are refunded, hit her where it hurts, the DSR's
There will always be fools on eBay who think they are above the rules. They don't last very long thankfully.
A word of warning, Gumtree is ten times worse than ebay and should only be used for collection items...its a scammers paradise and it is owned by eBay0 -
If they are being aggressive, I'd ring ebay and ask them to look at the messages they are sending you.0

If you sell on the same account as you bought on, make sure you have her id on your blocked bidder list.0
