I have an iPhone (on an Orange contract) and an iPad WiFi. (Actually I've got an iPhone 3 on O2 PAYG as well.)

I manage their apps, etc. from one iTunes installation (on Windows).

I choose which apps I want to put on each, and they do not have the same apps on each.

There are some apps which are iPad specific, so they wouldn't work on the iPhone.

Please explain, how having a target of selling thirty contracts makes a salesman more likely to sell one handset rather than another?

If he doesn't have the iPhone in stock but has a box full of Samsung's in the stock room it's fairly likely he will push the sale of what's in stock to add another sale towards his target.
