Thanks folks....I don't have the stomach for the ignore option ....Interested in the registered keeper comments ...I'm in Scotland but the rk is my employer...England! Does that matter??

Just do a soft appeal to them to take it away from your employer, something like this

    Ref xxxxx
    Date

    Dear Parking Company

In regards to the above reference number, can you please note the keeper of the vehicle (reg number) on xx/xx/xxxx was

    Name
    Address

I wish to invoke your appeal process on the following grounds

    1) Your invoice is punitive, thus an unlawful penalty
    2) The keeper didn't see any signs with terms and conditions
    3) The keeper believes you have no authority to issue tickets from the landowner

The keeper therefore denies liability to your company, and looks forward to your letter of confirmation in cancelling this parking invoice.

    Sincerely
    Name (printed)

    Well....update as promised!!

I sent of a letter of "appeal" on 4th Aug outlining the reasons why the driver was not liable - calibration of CCTV, length of time parked (as opposed to driving round looking for a space and getting petrol, the excessive charge compared to their loss and finally questioning their signs.

Notwithstanding all this...and without prejudice I sent a cheque for £10 as full and final payment - and if they cashed the cheque then we were quits.

So, was a bit apprehensive when I opened the envelope today (only 4 days later) and my cheque was returned - thinking they were saying "no thanks we'd rather have the £90"!!

Instead it said "....after reviewing our data and in view of the representations made ....we have decided to cancel the notice and no further action is to be taken"!!!😄😄😄

So, my huge thanks go to all of you who advised me and helped with the letter. I much prefer this route to the "ignore" option!!

Ha ha! Yes I was surprised at the returned cheque too - do you think someone somewhere has a conscience afterall?? :j

Just goes to show that it really is a "chancer" invoice - it must be worth their while though, a bit like the tele-sales callers!!

Ha....I'd love them to ask for the cheque back!! Anyway, it's too late...I've already put the £10 into my pot to give to charity - Hope and Homes for Children!! Far more worthwhile you'll agree!!
