select START,
in r/h pane select SEARCH,
l/h pane select PICTURES,MUSIC or VIDEO,
and then leave everything blank and select SEARCH.
this will find all the pictures on the PC (hopefully there won't be loads - if so select advanced options and put a date range in to limit the search - if you know the filenames you can put them in.
Once you've found the pictures select each one by selecting each one - right click on the mouse whilst keeping ctrl pressed down on the keyboard. When you've selected them all, keep the mouse on the last photo and left click on the mouse - this will bring up a menu and select COPY.
Connect the camera to the computer and once connected, select
START,
MY COMPUTER,
you should see the camera as an icon, either by name or as a removable disc drive. select it with the mouse by right clicking it to highight it, the left click to bring up a menu and select PASTE.
This will put a copy of the photos back onto the card and you're back to where you were before they were deleted. If you have another card, use that as you may want to recover the ones on the card before you overwrite them.
Before you do the above you could try recovering the ones on the card with PCINSPECTOR.
