No, you are wrong. What you are quoting is what the Daily Fail have misleadingly interpreted in Royal Canin's statement. There are no quotation marks around the words you have quoted, but there are around the paragraph above that. You are quoting what the DAILY FAIL have said, not what Royal Canin have said.DMP Mutual Support Thread member 244

the quote marks were there because I was quoting,
far too many pet shop owners/distrubtors or as RC like to call them "partners" worried about their loss of profit on this thread,
BTW incase you think i have anything against RC apart from getting caught out & doing a very fast turnaround to save face & sales, I only feed my two cats sensitive 33I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -

errr, yes I know! My point is, it wasn't a RC quote!! It was a Daily Fail quote! I don't care about RC one way or the other - don't use it and never will. That isn't the point. It is not fair to judge anyone on something they haven't actually said.

It is neither overpriced nor crap.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

No, it really isn't. But that's your opinion and you're entitled to it. Having fed my animals on it for many years I know it's value and quality.
It's certainly far cheaper and much higher quality than the supermarket crap many people waste their money on!“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Putting everything else aside, bear cubs are trapped in the Ukraine, claws clipped and put into fights with dogs. Its appalling.0

I'm intrigued. Who are the pet shop owners/distributors posting on here?? How do you arrive at that conclusion? Please identify them.
For your information, I am neither - just in case that is what you are implying.

I know you are wrong - and am telling you "You are wrong""Men are generally more careful of the breed(ing) of their horses and dogs than of their children" - William Penn 1644-1718

To be fair, you did post twice stating you had recieved emails from RC that began, 'dear partner'.........

I don't disagree that it is better than Bakers and Pedigree. Problem is its £50 for a bag of mostly cereal (maize). Foods like Fish4Dogs, even Wainwrights, Arden Grange etc are far superior in the ingredient stakes and cost the same or much less. Most RC isn't even hypoallergenic. It's horribly similar to Hills in the way vets push it and the only RC I think is worth it's weight is the actual prescription stuff ie. hydrolysed meats. But still they are overpriced for what they are which is why insurance companies usually don't cover prescription foods for more than a month or so's supply if that0
