    Hi everyone,
Hester - If your on facebook this is brilliant for recipes https://www.facebook.com/CrohnsColitisNetwork?ref=profile. Im on a low fibre diets since bowel obstructions so its horrible....spent 4 years continuously in hospital its horrendous x
Judi - congratulations on the birth of your grandson...too cute.
OS and life wise been sorting alot out starting to menu plan and bulk cooking etc.
My cousin ended up in intensive care after being electrocuted with 11,000 volts last week..Hes got burns to both hands and in his throat but hes getting there and hes alive thats the main thing he took out a main power line and the electricity to a police station.
Healthwise same old still in constant pain and after having kidney stones removed surgically 2 years ago it looks like they are back. Never been the same since the operation.
Hope everyone is well and hugs to all that need it x

    Hi BB
Have you considered First Direct, they are very easy to deal with, and you get £100 cash for transferring.

I would also get £50 for recommending you. UK call centres and you talk to the person if necessary. They transferred all my DD's seamlessly. Recomended DS and he is very happy with them too.

The only other one who claim to be ethical is the Co-op or their on line version Smile, again they have been good.

New boiler installed and up and running, got a Baxi Platinum HE A, which until the end of the year are giving a 10 year parts and labour warranty, which means within a couple of years will pay for itself instead of the insurance cover for our 15 year old model which was a Grade G and this is A. So hoping for lower bills too. :D:D:rotfl::rotfl:

Not much more to add, so will close and wish all our poorlies a speedy recovery, and ((hugs)), spoons, positive vibes all round. Take care everyone. DG

    Evening all,

    Hester...hugs, take care of you.

Judi....lovely babe, like the names too. Remedies for sore post natal boobs that I have used are tiny bit of epsom salts in warm water every morning....dreadful taste; another is raw cabbage leaves in bra, changing as they wilt....it works, honestly.

We have had thunder, lightning and torrential rain here to-day, interspersed with sun...poor Mossy not a happy camper, he has a sore foot so thunder was just an added nuisance.

Had some nice ham and cabbage for dinner, good spuds and rhubarb tart and ice-cream to follow. We both need the pudding badly!!

Ttftm...hope that you get rid of cold sore quickly....I get them every so often and hate them....have a mouth ulcer which won't go at present so feeling sorry for myself.

We had an electricity break down for about 4 hours to-day and are due for a 'planned outage' on Wednesday from 9am to 4 pm....these are the only times that I am glad to have a gas hob!

Hugs to all who would like one, stay safe and well

    Marie

I would also recommend First Direct, I've been with NatWest for about 20 years but changed to FD earlier this year, they've been fab. Even DH is considering changing to them, he's been with Barclays for about 24 years.

Floss. Don't forget that if your DH does, to say you referred him and then you will get a bonus too.

BB. May I ask why, it is all the hype about the dangers? I have used IB since it started (with Smile), from home, work, abroad, but not in an internet cafe abroad, and via my mobile with no problems. But from my own devices, and do not used "dodgy" sites, have free virus, and malware running. The biggest dangers are those emails asking you to log on as "there is a problem". I always come out of any emails and log on direct to the sites, wheni know the URL I am using.

  • I just don't trust anything to do with banks and would never use them given a choice
