I would suggest that you have more money than sense if you didn't 'notice' right away that you had been overcharged by £164! That is double what we spend weekly on shopping for 3 of us!

Also, they offered you double the difference and you're still not happy? What do you EXPECT them to do? Seriously, get a grip. ;)

I'm glad someone said this straight away.

Bad experience but looks to me like Tesco tried rectifying the situation. Some people just want everything for nothing!

    i agree with others...........
    a) HOW did you not notice the huge overpayment if the shop n scan gives you a running total?
    b) why did you decline their DTD offer? £200+ would feed my family of 4 for a whole month (including nappies etc). I would have taken it, THEN written to the CEO to make sure they are aware of the practise.

    Alternativly:
This is a brilliant bedtime story and I do appreciate the time you took to write it, have you considered sending it to a publisher?
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

On the plus side you've now probably got enough Clubcard points to get a 4.2" tv.

Don't forget to mention how you recoiled in shock when you looked at the receipt. You've probably got whiplash and you can do them for that as well

Hi, my apologies in advance, I'm new to this.

    Yeah right . .
I recently went to our local Tesco in Royston to do our normal weekly shop.
Surely you mean Royston Vasey . . .

The handset gives you a running total while in use, did you not notice that as you were shopping and realise that the total that came up on the till was different?

You should have reported him to the police then.

I think you'll find he is a regular on the Discussion Time board although he's had to keep a lower profile since his main monicker, tod123, got PPRd last year. He's currently posting on DT as _Freddie_ , indeed he has a thread on there entitled 'Problem with young yob family at pub garden'. I won't link to the thread because non-members won't be able to see it but he uses lots of small paragraphs like on this thread.

I must admit he is very entertaining with his various faintly believable diatribes against the likes of Tesco, Subway and Aldi and this one is one of his better efforts.
