My experience is the complete opposite, I've never had a problem with meat (cooked or uncooked) from either place and have been happily using them for years when I am near enough to buy from one.
Also, I hope you have a decent lawyer, as the statements you make above certainly seem to be libellous.

No no I live in Scotland, where Lidl sell superb Scottish meat, that in my view is often superior to the other supermarkets.

They were blatantly making up. They even said they would be surprised if they don't even bother keeping it refrigerated. Of course that's a load of rubbish!

All that poster bought was some bread and now they seem to know everything about how the meat is kept!
