Dalkirst, the others are spot on re putting your health first.

Calling a spade a spade here, it does seem to me that at the mo we only have one BG who is 'firing on all cylinders'. Must be hard on Glad, I think.

Might it be an idea perhaps for you and Divadee (don't know what the situation is re MrsTine) to ask MSE to find a temp replacement? I bet there are 2/3 members who would be happy to help out on a temp basis, just until you and D-Dee are ready to take the reins back. Can't help thinking that this would be better for all, though please don't read anything negative into that.

And can I just add that in my personal opinion, it would be helpful to have one BG who tends to be around during working hours, so they could close trolled and other nasty threads more quickly.

If that health problem is repetitive strain injury - aching fingers/wrists - please do not use the computer much. Excess use can change temporary pain into lifelong injury in as little as a few weeks.

No not that aswell as my crohn's i have hyperthyroidsm and need surgery but still waiting for an appoitment for that but that's killing me at the moment sooo tired all the time

So sorry to hear of your illness Dalkirst and yes health comes first and foremost.

What I simply cannot understand is this problem of BGs is not new, there was a thread months ago about the same subject and a post from one of the peeps who run the forum saying "comments are noted".

Why is it so difficult to make a decision and to appoint some new BGs? What exactly is the issue in doing this? It is not like recruiting someone for a top notch job with a 100k salary where yes time would be needed to make sure you have the right candidate. I just cannot understand this at all.

Was wondering that myself... seems like months of faffing when there is surely a simple solution.
