Im back....:j 4 miles no probs. Well actually about half a mile in my knee was a bit twingy but as the miles went by no pain or niggles, so let hope I can stop boring you all now with my knee problems!;)

Even better is that I found the womens running network and they have a run here in my little town :j Monday nights at 6pm so have agreed to go along. They only run 4-6 miles but I figured those extra miles in the week will add to the training plan!

So all in all a very productive morning!

As far as body fat goes, I have some of those body fat scales. I don't know how they measure up for accuracy, but there are a couple of benefits that I can see. Firstly, the absolute % isn't too important, but it can indicate a trend.

Thats kind of what I wanted them for to be able to see the numbers going down. I dread to think what % I am fat.....runs and hides

Sally, you've met HFW? Mrs. Bbeertins would be so jealous, he's her "weird celebrity crush"!

Ha ha :rotfl: that is a weird celebrity crush but he is lovely. He used to live only about 7 miles from me when he first did the river cottage and i used to see him all the time at Bridport Farmers Market. Now he has gone up in the world and expanded he's a bit further away. His Bistro/Restaurant is lush and highly recommended (even if a little pricey for us DFW's)

Fairly sure I'm around 60% - I just think of it as "plenty of room for improvement" :D

Glad you had a good run Sally!

I'd hate to know what my body fat % was at the mo, not good I suspect.

Glad your knee is better Sally, it is really frustrating to have an injury.

The ladies group I sometimes run with are the Womens Running Network. They are great. Usually all different levels and really encouraging. I hope you enjoy it!
