Idio you are almost scary - exactly how I pictured you!
Fixt it for you
Yeah, I think I'd like a <45min race time next time out - but don't have one lined up in the immediate future (besides the pudding run, but I don't think running over europe's biggest sand dune is a PB event) - might have to find one in Jan/Feb as a pre-event to my half in March.

Hmm, only suitable 10k I can find is the weekend before the half - do you reckon it's advisable to do both in a week, or is that pushing it a bit?0

No problem at all - the 10K will actually improve your half time as well.

No running for me today - i am having a rest having done 3 days out of the last 4. I will go for an easy 5 miles or so tomorrow evening hopefully then do my longer run on Sunday when I am aiming for 8.5 miles.....
Then next week I think I get into the proper stuff, joining a running club and starting to work out how the heck I am ever going to get beyond plodding!
Bunny, I am glad that you are noticing the improvements already! Keep up the good work!
Chick - that is an excellent time for your "easy" run - I hope to report similar progress before too long!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Evening All!
Wow another newbie - hello 30!
Swapped my hill run for an easy 4.25 this morning which I still managed to get round in 40 mins which is great after two days of hard hill work
Been out in London town doing touristy things with a mate today so have walked miles and am now very tired...not sure what run to do tomorrow now - should I just go for another easy and set my sights on 1.52 for Sunday Rich?
Idio - ah I expected blonder...but I wasnt far off I see - you do look like such a young un!0 -

Yep!!
You could be quite stiff tomorrow, but then again you could have been quite stiff today, so the normal easy one is the right call.
That was a good solid effort this morning with the Bristol hills in your legs.Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j
