So other than your planned races in 2009 are you going to do any shorter ones before then??I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Who me?
If so, the answer will be quite a few - 10k, 10 mile, 1/2 marathons and a 20-miler about 3 weeks before the August marathon. Probably 2 per month from Feb onwards but mostly 'train through' races with no tapering down beforehand.
It will all be very flexible though depending on how training is going and what I want to find out.Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j
Blackpool Marathon 11/4/2010 (Target=2:59:59) (6:52/mile)
Abingdon Marathon 17/10/2010, (Target=2:48:57) (6:27/mile)

Yes you, sorry I wasn't specific!
sounds like your going to be busy then! Just out of interest when your training or have been training before for a marathon have you found it easy to fit the training in?? How many hours per week do you think you max atI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

I haven't volunteered for anything club-wise because I can't think of anything useful I could do - but if anyone can think of anything, I'd be happy to help.
My main skill areas are:

Smut
Drinking woo woos
Talking rubbish
Occasional mortgage underwriting

Less than its taking me now with all this walking thats for sure.
In reality 7-8 hours per week of actual training but only 7 sessions max, rarely have I trained twice in a day.
Roughly speaking its an hour a day and anything between 1.5-3 hours on the long runs. This is for 70 miles pw, but it really doesn't seem to take any more time out of your schedule than 30 miles pw because its the same number of sessions.Gt NW 1/2 Marathon 21/2/2010 (Target=1:22:59) (6:20/mile) 1:22:47 (6:19):j:j
