Anyway, welcome back. I'll put you on the list of suspects. Are you male or female - its one of those kinda unisex names!:p:p

Take a look at her picture...and the fact she is having a baby! :D

Land of maz - thanks, its a painting a friend of mine did of my daughter then aged 9 months :)

Rich one day - lol I wish losing 2 stone was nothing at all :rotfl:its all that flab i put on from having a baby... who is now almost 2:eek:. So am glad ive found the motivation to at last lose it. If I was to set a "running target" id go for the smaller 5k and do a race for life or the likes once i could do it. But tbh, id be happy being able to run 1k :rotfl:because like i said, ive never run before. The only problem is the park near me... i have no idea of the distance around it, im useless at knowing distance. I know i walk 2 miles to uni - but thats care of AA route planner :o and there aint no way im running into uni cause id be a sweaty betty all day :rotfl:Will see if i can find somebody who can guestimate though :)

Idophreak - lol my dreams are not running accross lovely meadows haha, they where actually of just jogging around the park around the corner. Right perhaps this weekend I will give just a veeeeery slow run around the park a bash and see how it goes. Will try not to feel too daft lol, need to figure where to put my ipod too hmmmm or else buy one of those bands to hold it on.

    Thanks guys :) appreciate it!

Ok so a 5k target it is. The first thing is to build up to walking 4 miles if you can, Start with a couple of miles and just get a routine going. 1 mile of walking burns the same calories as 1 mile of running and strengthens knees and hips - so its a great exercise. The running can come later.

In terms of distances go to mapmyrun.co.uk and have a play. You can measure any route you fancy.

  • I can easily walk 4 miles, i dont mind walking and will happily walk whatever you put in front of me :) I generally walk 2 miles a day minimum and 4 - 5 miles a few days a week, just depends where i need to go and what im doing :) Will check out that website - thanks :)

So was that one the other day one of your own?

That is bad news. You won't have that problem in London, you'll definitely get several.

Awww I feel gutted for you now....
