The Post Office are, indeed, self insured. I made a better job of the one I hit. It was a complete write-off. No one hurt though.0 -

Most insurers will let you reimburse them their costs after the claim is concluded and thereby get your lost ncd reinstated.
Remember that you are responsible for paying all the third party costs when you are at fault not just the garage bill, but all their (reasonable) associated uninsured losses (eg vehicle hire whilst repairs are carried out) so any claim can turn out more expensive than you originally estimate.0 -
I think it would not be untoward to call for the other parties authenticated photo evidence of the damage. No point in assessing the vehicle as it stands now, in the last 6 months it will have collected all sorts of additional distress.You scullion! You rampallian! You fustilarian!
