I am so very sorry to hear this.
I'm also a regular poster on the Consumer forum and I was thrilled to bits when one of my posts there was made into a sticky, by Squeaky - I felt like I'd really 'arrived' here!
Board guides do a terrific job; they are all much appreciated and my sincere condolences go out to Squeaky's family and friends.
Squeaky truly was 'a wise old owl'.

So sad to hear of the death of dear Squeaky. He joined me as a Board Guide on the Old Style board and continued after I left.
I remember his organisation skills and his good natured humour.

So sad to hear the news about squeaky.
He was a lovely, unassuming guy who just wanted to help as many people as he could. He will be greatly missed.
RIP squeaky. Go well wherever you are. x0 -
I never had cause to interact with Squeaky, but I see his name all over the threads I read, mainly in OS, and always found his post either helpful, amusing or well-reasoned or, often, all three. He was truly dedicated to helping others, and will be much missed.
My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.0 -

Old Style is the forum home to so many of us, part of our daily lives, a place where we come to share both happy and sad news. Squeaky gave order to enable us to find all those gems of information. To be sadly missed but immortal in his index. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
