Really appreciate all the work. RIP and condolences.I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
RIP, you will be missed here0

Very sad news
Squeaky was an incredibly dedicated forum member and leaves an impressive legacy on the OS board. I never fail to be amazed by the scale of the Index on here. He lent a hand with other boards too even where he wasn't assigned as a BG. One of the truly dedicated forum stalwarts of MSE.
Condolences to all those who knew and loved him.0 -
I never knew squeaky or had any interaction with him on mse boards, but as with others here would like to extend my sincere condolences to his family.
Our fab mse forum boards only exist through the sheer hard work of such people as squeaky who are willing to put time & effort into them with no thought of reward or remuneration.
God Bless you squeaky & may you rest in peace. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
RIP Squeaky. You were very much appreciated and will be missed.Slimming World at target0

Such sad news - I was lucky enough to meet Squeaky when 7 or 8 of us had an Old Style meet up in Blackpool in 2006. We had a great day out and I was so pleased to put a face to the name, he was every bit as nice as I expected him to be.
Old Style was a different place back then as there were recipes and tips in random places and he was a driving force in gathering it up and grouping it to make it function properly as a reference library of useful and invaluable information and experience.
I hope that MSE mark his passing with something permanent to recognise the work he put in.0
